Ordered two cob salads with Alaskan salmon, about $20 per salad and the lettuce in my wife’s salad was old. You’d think for that price they could at least use some fresh lettuce. Waitress only came by once to check on us, and there were only two other couples besides us, and it took about 30 minutes to get a salad.

I dined at your restaurant yesterday morning, and I wanted to take a moment to express how genuinely impressed and appreciative I was of the outstanding service we received from our server, Amanda.
Her attention to detail was exceptional, consistent, and truly admirable—not only at our table, but throughout the entire dining area. She was attentive, warm, and highly professional, always anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Our coffee was never empty, everything arrived promptly and perfectly prepared, and we never once had to send anything back or request additional items.
Amanda’s friendly demeanor, efficiency, and genuine care made our dining experience incredibly pleasant and memorable. She made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of from start to finish, and her level of service truly stood out.
Because of the excellent, high-quality service Amanda provided, I will most definitely be returning. Please pass along my sincere thanks and appreciation to her—she is a wonderful asset to your team and made our visit exceptional.

Amazing food. Slow service but it is 11:30 pm so I get it. My whole life I tested Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and late nite and you should definitely come around 11 pm. Kind staff. This place deserves a 10 star reviews.

Me and the fam stopped by the Fruitvale Denny’s this morning for breakfast, and I was so impressed with our server Jody. She was operating at full capacity—every table in her area was full but she maintained absolute calm and professionalism the entire time! The definition of polished service. She immediately took our beverage order and had them delivered moments later. When she took our food order (we got the Ultimate Skillet, highly recommended!), she repeated it back perfectly, which I always appreciate. Our food arrived quickly and hot, proving she has excellent communication with the kitchen staff. She didn’t just rush through the motions; she had a genuinely pleasant and warm demeanor. It made our whole dining experience feel comfortable and well-cared for, even during the peak morning rush. If you dine at Dennys, request Jody—she’s truly outstanding!

I had to leave a review after my visit to the Dennys on fruitvale last night. The place was definitely busy, but our server, Jody, handled the rush like a total pro.
She was incredibly fast getting our drinks and order in, and even though the kitchen seemed slammed, she kept checking in with us, making sure we had refills and letting us know our food was coming soon. She recommended the Cinnamon Roll Pancake Breakfast, and wow, it was fantastic! Seriously the best pancakes I’ve had at a Denny’s.
Jody was so friendly and attentive, even taking the time to laugh at a bad joke my kid made. Great service makes all the difference. She’s a huge asset to this location. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for Jody’s section!

You can tell she truly cares about her customers and takes pride in her work. Her positive energy made the whole dining experience so much more enjoyable.
