Excellent care in Shepardstown WV. Very pet friendly, the server brought us milk bones and a bowl of water for our pup! The burgers are delicious. Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant!

The Blue Moon Cafe is adorable! It has a blue glass decor. Nice variety of lunch items. We had a veggie wrap and a burger; both were delicious. They were also very accommodating to a gentleman with his two young children who were at the table beside us. We will definitely go back.

Had a great experience at Blue Moon Cafe. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, perfect for an easygoing meal. Tyler, our server, was excellent—attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely kind. The food hit the spot and came out in good time. Overall, everything just felt smooth and enjoyable. We discovered that there are not many dog friendly restaurants in the area. Thankfully we stumbled on the Blue Moon Cafe. Their outdoor seating is garden-like with a fast moving stream running right through. Our server was awesome and our meal came quickly. Next time your in Shepherdstown — give it a try!

We were over the moon at the Blue Moon Cafe! We had a groovy lunch there while traveling and the staff were INCREDIBLE! They accommodated us with 2 large German Shepherds. They even bought a peanut butter cup for each to keep them busy while we ate. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed. Highly recommend and will absolutely visit when we are in the area again.

We enjoyed our lunch. The sweet potato fries were delicious. My burger was dry and overcooked, but had a good flavor. The chef’s accommodating my gluten sensitivity was greatly appreciated. My grandson got the pizza and loved it! He was charmed by the cup that the hot chocolate was served in. He was also delighted by the surprise at the bottom of the mug, lol! Will definitely return.

This little restaurant is like a hidden oasis. It was super cute and secluded. It has a natural running stream through the outside seating area. The food came out quickly and had decent flavor. The service was good.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Shepherdstown because it has by far the best ambience and the most beautiful setting. The indoors room is a historic property with large antique windows and a high ceiling, and the outdoor garden is thoughtfully landscaped and perfect for hanging out on a warm day. We enjoyed out salads very much, which were generous and reasonably priced. On another occasion a friend ordered a Rueben sandwich and was not satisfied with its authenticity. However, we have always ordered the salads and found them to be pleasing and satisfying and a good value. We will be back!

This place has a cozy atmosphere, friendly servers, and pretty quick service in the off-hours (I tend to take lunch later in the day). My Blue Moo salad has fresh, crispy greens, tasty roast beef, and deliciously tangy Gorgonzola cheese. The meatloaf sandwich is tender and flavorful. There are steps inside, so beware if you’re sitting inside and have mobility issues, let them know right away.

This place is a hidden gem. The outdoor seating is awesome, great beer options, and the artichoke dip was super tasty. Make sure to sit outside and enjoy the stream that runs through the restaurant. Loved this place!
