Thanksgiving buffet = best TG meal ever in 40+ Thanksgiving‘s every classic done right. then they casually added prime rib & oysters. The poke and salads were great too which helped me pretend I was making good life choices before round 2. I liked the spinach salad (and I’m not really a fan of spinach or salad ) so much that I ended up getting it for Christmas Eve dinner a month later. During the winter, the tucked away, low light interior feels cozy and atmospheric, especially when it’s already dark outside.

Love that they’re open on Christmas Eve w their regular menu. HALLELUJAH to a full service restaurant option that is not default Chinese takeout. Chinese food is one of my faves, but sometimes you want steak, seafood, a proper cocktail, and someone else doing the dishes esp. w family all around. They also have an amaze all day HH on Mondays. The garlic bread is to to die for and I would go just for that

Came here on a Tuesday with family and friends for dinner around 5. We did a walk-in as a party of 6. We had to wait about 10 minutes before a table was ready. The waiting area only had a handful of seats, and was right next to the bathroom. The smell of the bathroom, which isn’t a clean smell, drifted into the waiting area. When we were seated, we all received menus and the waitress gave us a quick moment before coming back to ask about drinks and going over the specials for the day. We ended up ordering a a few appetizers and sides: Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Crispy Calamari, Duck Fat Wedge Fries, and Truffle Parmesan Fries. The Brussel Sprouts were the best out of all the appetizers. For my family with the mail dises, we got a Porterhouse and the Torfio River Salmon to share between the three of us. I asked for medium rare for the Porterhouse, which was cooked right, and tasted great. The Salmon was good well, and the sides it came with were good too. The service was not that attentive. The waitress staff was dressed in short Santa outfits for the holiday. We had to flag down the waitresses when we needed water or extra plate and silverware. The atmosphere is not loud so we were able to have a conversations at the table. The dining area felt a bit dark, making me question a couple of things. Not sure where they source their ingredients, but prices are high. There is parking available all around the restaurant. I wouldn’t come back.

Visited The Butcher Shop with high expectations, and while there were definite highlights, the experience was a bit mixed.
The standout dish was absolutely the beef carpaccio—an incredible flavor profile, beautifully balanced, and easily the best part of the meal. It showed real care and culinary intention.
On the downside, my drink was very ice-heavy, which diluted it more than I would have liked. Service was also inconsistent; our waitress seemed distracted at times, which affected the overall flow of the experience.
The prime rib tips were disappointing—overly salty and mostly end pieces, which felt less intentional and more like leftovers than a curated dish. Additionally, the accompanying butters lacked salt, which was surprising given how well-seasoned other elements of the menu can be.
There’s clear potential here, and the kitchen shows flashes of excellence, but some execution and service details need tightening to match the price point and reputation.

Celebrated my birthday at The Butcher Shop and it was so good! We really enjoyed the food, everything was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was cozy, the staff were friendly, and sharing the night with good company made it extra special. I felt so grateful for the love, laughter, and all the birthday wishes, definitely a memorable celebration!

We had a fantastic experience at this steakhouse! The food was delicious with plenty of options, and the steak was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. Best we’ve had! The staff were fun, friendly, and prompt, and the atmosphere is classy and welcoming. The leadership clearly shows in the exceptional service. Highly recommend!

We went because of the great reviews to celebrate a birthday but were disappointed. The host was very scattered and confused. We had a reservation on Open Table and he didn’t check our name and we had designated a special birthday. It took us awhile to get seated and he was just going back and forth and just seemed very befuddled. Our waitress must have had too many tables because service was extremely slow. We had to ask for water 3 times before we got it. The food itself was very good. The steaks were good and two of us got fish. We also ordered dessert which was good. The steaks were a little too done compared to what was asked, but the fish was very tasty. We started with the parmesean bread and that was very good.

The food is good but the experience overall was not exceptional.

The waitress uniform was very skimpy for a steak house while the male waitors wore long shirts and long pants it seemed demeaning to the female staff. The boys should have to wear short shorts if the girls have to.

I ate here based on a recommendation from a person who used to live here. When I arrived I was skeptical based on the dated exterior but once inside its a different story. Very clean and food that was prepared to perfection. Thank you for a wonderful meal!!!

Ate an excellent dinner at The Butcher Shop! We started with the bone marrow which was fantastic, my favorite dish of the night. They also serve garlic bread which was very good. For entrees we had the seasonal catch which was Chilean seabass and the 10 oz house cut prime rib with Caesar salad and whipped potatoes. We also ordered great cocktails, the Regal and Butcher Shop Old Fashioned. The service was excellent, professional, friendly, and quick. Love the movie star ambiance and old school feel. Recommend for anyone who loves steakhouses.

The boys started taking me here for hydraulic lunches a few decades ago and that is how I’ve always thought of it. Wifey returns home from a short trip and she’s hungry, she enjoys red meat and we drive past it on our way home. Stopped in, immediately seated, service was excellent, wifey ordered the prime rib, I ordered the Wagu strip steak. This is an old school chophouse and the atmosphere hasn’t changed since I began frequenting this place and that’s kool. Wifey loved the prime rib. The $105 Wagu strip was ordered more rare than medium and came already sliced, which i wasn’t a fan of. It was a touch tough, and this could be because having lived/worked in Japan several times over the decades I maybe be a little jaded. Wagu came al carte and this wasn’t shared and I didn’t read the fine print. Overall it was good, and wifey still raves about the prime rib. It’s always been good overall but, I’m just sour over a mediocre $105 steak. We will return.

Classic style upscale interiors, good food, accommodating spaces for groups makes for a good place for business meals or smaller events. Had prime rib bites that were good and roasted chicken I liked. Looking to go after dry January to get a feel for drinks as well.
