A perfect road trip stop! If you’re driving along Highway 95 on a weekday around lunchtime, you need to stop at The Lunch Box! It’s a cute little spot that’s worth planning your drive around if the timing works out.
I had a turkey sandwich on a croissant, and it was absolutely delicious. The side salad was a great surprise—lots of toppings and a big portion for a side. Everything tasted so good and was really well put together. The kids loved their sandwiches from the kids’ menu, which came with chips and a drink.
The service was fantastic. The lady taking orders was super friendly and even gave my kids crayons and coloring pages, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our food came out quickly, and the whole experience was just easy and enjoyable.
The best part? Our total for all of us was under $35. That’s a great deal for local food that’s made with care. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out!

Wow! Stopped here on our way from Ponte Vedra to Charleston for lunch. The woman taking our order was a sweetheart. Felt like we were welcomed right into her kitchen! We ordered their chicken salad sandwich on rye and it was outstanding! So fresh and made with love. We even got extra napkins and two pickles since we were sharing! Can’t wait to pop back here next time we are traveling through on I95!

Excellent lunch stop near the interstate. My goal is always to find fresh local food, but I don’t always have time to go far. This place was perfect. I had a chicken salad sandwich with grapes in it that was unique and refreshing. Really happy I took time to google and didn’t settle for gas station food. Also really fast Interstate 95 access.

Have you ever eaten somewhere and was undecided about what you wanted?? Well, go here…please!!! I still don’t know what I want here but for a totally different reason…EVERYTHING IS GOOD!!! At a sandwich shop mind you!! If they were open 7 days a week I would be there at least 5…the salads are fresh and crunchy and very delicious and nutritious…seriously…the sandwiches are…OMG!!! Ya gotta try them too!! Really I could continue my rave but I’m going to just say drop in and check them out for yourself…oh and the folks running the place treat you like an ole friend or family member just dropping by, imagine that…good food good atmosphere and great prices!!! and don’t forget it’s just basically a sandwich shop…I would have pictures but I don’t have time because I’m too busy chowing down. My favorite place in all of McIntosh County…Jill, Brett and Rich local treasures. Now my secret is out. See ya there…

Stopped by today and picked up a couple of sanwiches to go! They were delicious! Came with sides: coleslaw and potatoes salad – there were other options too. A pickle was included too. Fast service, friendly staff, highy recommended!!

What a cute little restaurant! We stopped in from a field trip down the road at The Ashantilly Center. They suggested we have lunch at The Lunchbox! It was a great suggestion.
We ended up getting dessert and taking it back home. The chocolate cake and carrot cake were to die for.

What a fantastic experience stopping for lunch on our way through driving from Florida to New York! We were hoping for a home cooked experience/feel and that’s exactly what we got. Everything we ordered was excellent and the potato salad was out of this world yummy. The sweet owner sent us on our way with some complimentary strawberry cheesecake. Wonderful!

I enjoyed eating here with my friends – it is a basic grab lunch type place with a small amount of tables. Customers were on lunch breaks & many got their meal on the go. The food was great – although my sandwich was a bit over toasted & very hard on the outside. The service was excellent & friendly. I would go again!
