In 1975 our Founder, Antonio Moreno, began making his authentic Mexican tacos from a catering truck using only the freshest ingredients using family recipes. Mr. Moreno’s food truck was such a success that he opened his first “brick and mortar” restaurant in 1977 at 913 S. Broadway in Los Angeles, which is still in operation today. In addition to his authentic tacos, Mr. Moreno gradually expanded his menu to include tortas, sopes, quedadillas, and burritos. all made from specially prepared meats including carne asada, buche, cabeza, al pastor, pollo, carnitas, tripas and lengua. This place used to be better but now is really struggling. The way they keep the food I feel is not the best since there are flies inside. The torta was good but it could had been better. The fish taco was not as fresh and heavy on the breading. I wish they would get better so I could have a good taco place close by.

I wish I could give negative stars. #1 I found hair in my food. Took it back and they refused to refund me my money and then proceeded to remake the food after I said I didn’t want to eat there anymore. I’m sick to my stomach. The food wasn’t properly remade. And was demanding money for sauces. Pictures will be posted #2 customer service was never introduced to any of their employees. Their attitudes are horrible and the restaurant is disgusting. Please do not waste your time or money here. Their new management is horrible. They have completely trashed that business. I will never return and I tell everyone to avoid this place. It’s sickening

$29 for a chile verde burrito that my husband’s first bite was fat. He pulled out 7 pieces of straight fat out of his burritos. The second bite looked a little undercooked. We will not be coming here because half the burrito was fat and the rest was edible. Definitely not worth it. A chile Verde burrito. One legna taco $3.50, Questa birria taco $5.50, soda $3.50 and 1 churro was $2.75. For $29 me and my husband could have went somewhere else. Pictures are of all the fat my husband picked out of his burrito basically half the burrito.

The food was disgusting. My husband and I were served very cold food like they just pulled it out of the refrigerator. I asked for a refund, but the Cashier denied me a refund. She told me there’s nothing she could do. I asked for her name and managers name, but she said she can not provide me her nor her managers name. When I got home I instantly started vomiting, so I went to the doctor. I was told that I had a food borne illness. Save your money and stomach by staying away from here. They will not refund your food, nor give you any information for complaints. This location needs to be shut down immediately.

Food is good especially if want tacos late at night.. The only problem I have is when u ask for no beans or onions they still add it to your food but besides that food is good.

I haven’t yet encountered any bad experience here at taco Mexico ,carna asada comes out fresh and no Viens or tissue when eating the Asada and that’s what I keeps me coming back !

Come here often but today was a bit too much not too leave a review. Orders Alpastor burrito and apparently I forgot that I told them Alpastor with a whole onion . Here’s a pic of all that I took out of it not including the few pieces I had already ate. Don’t mind onion at all but literally every bite had two to three pieces of onion until I realized the amount it had in it. Smh
