So excited that I found a Church’s. Has been a few years, since all the ones in Richmond has closed down. This was one of the 1st ones that I’ve seen with a drive-thru. Was a little concerned when I pulled up to order and they told me to look at the menu and then order at the window. There were a few cars in front of me so I thought I would have a long wait but quite honestly they were really fast to my surprise kudos to them! The chicken was just as I remembered one of the best fried chickens around and the Honey biscuit was excellent! Unfortunately the mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant and freshly made. Now with any Church’s Chicken that I’ve ever seen it’s never quite in great shape or in the best part of any town and this one was no exception. It was fairly busy around 1:30 on a Thursday afternoon. Probably still my most favorite chicken!

Please check your order! Nowhere in my order did I ask for fries. I specifically stopped for biscuits, yet fries were placed in the biscuit bag. I can’t tell if it was done as a joke or with ill intent, but either way, this is the last time I’ll be spending my money here. And I honestly didn’t check because we shouldn’t be checking after a small simple order but here we are… another disappointed customer

Was so excited to have some Church’s after a long time since many have closed down. The flavor of the chicken, was just as I remembered, absolutely delicious! Bummed that there was no rice ready at 11:46 in the morning, but that’s fine. The staff was extremely nice. The prices of the sides have definitely gone up a lot, for the portion, but still tasty.
This establishment really needs to get a plumber or a janitor to clean the restrooms, there was a disgusting sewer order that was leaking into the dining area. Although this has nothing to do with the food, it did leave a bad experience in my mind, as I couldn’t enjoy sitting and dining.

Went in today around 1 to order a 16 piece meal and the chicken was so amazing and fresh. The short brown skin lady who took my order was very helpful in helping me to decide and understand the menu. It’s a big difference the last time I ordered when the people were very rude to me and rushing. I will definitely be going back soon.

I’ve been coming to this place for a few years now and I haven’t been disappointed yet. Service is great, employees are sharp, and the food is probably the better of the 3 main competitors. Popeyes only has a leg up on it for the seafood options. The biscuits are probably my family’s favorite.

Pros: Customer Service was awesome.
They were out of original breast and they actually asked if I wanted spicy(normally a place will just give you whatever).
Our food was FRESH & HOT
The mashed potatoes were my best part
Cons: It took us 20 mins to get through the drive thru with 5 cars ahead of me.
The biscuit is nasty(just my opinion)

Little disappointed ordered a 4pc combo thought I was getting a piece of each and was legs and thighs only for almost $13 bucks. Chicken was just ok I loved the biscuit! Coleslaw I did not like. Not the Church’s I remember from back in the day.

I use to live churches chicken . The one that use to be in Richmond on Jeff Davis and Hull Street was the Bomb. This one in Petersburg need to be shut down. Food over cook, been there three times, my order is never right,and they play to much while you wait for your food..if people call it getto they speaking the truth. They got to do better….

Horrible customer service. Placed an online order 20 minutes prior to arrival that was supposed to be ready in 5 minutes. Was not ready and had to wait an additional 15 minutes. Once I got my order I asked for extra sauce and was told I had to pay which wasn’t a problem. The problem was she took everyone else’s order while I’m still standing there waiting on sauce then had the nerve to say I’m busy when asked. The manager said the same thing. I will never visit this location again and will tell everyone about my experience here.
