The food was good. The problem began when we finished eating. Now keep in mind, the two of us are at a buffet drinking water. I get my ticket for $28 and some change, no problem there. I give her a $100 bill. She brings me back $69.15. I realize she shorted me a couple of bucks but not worth the hassle so I just put the change in my pocket. After a few more minutes, we decided to get up and leave. The lady that seated us, whom I haven’t seen since she seated us, stopped me and demanded that I give her a tip. I asked her why I would be tipping her when she didn’t serve me and it’s a buffet plus I never even got so much as one refill. She let me know it was expected regardless. So even though the food was good. Being confronted while eating with my elderly uncle in a restaurant full of people (after being short changed to begin with) is enough to make me never return.

This is my picky babies favorite restaurant. Not only is the food amazing, the sushi is fresh and the manager and staff are always so sweet. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. We just left with an amazing experience (as usual) and full happy bellies!

Ate at China Palace for 1st time during lunchtime. Place was relatively busy but everything moved quickly. Food was all hot and fresh. Kitchen staff swapped out ALL the serving utensils while we were there. $13 for all you can eat buffet. Everything was going well until I saw a huge roach on table next to us!

Fresh food and friendly service. Constantly putting out fresh hot food. Lots to choose from. No labels on the food so good luck if you have preferences or allergies. No knives in your silverware service. Can’t cut large veggies/egg rolls. $15.70/person plus drinks and taxes and tip.

Staff is friendly, good selection of food – some pretty good, though much of it seems to be simply overcooked (especially anything chicken – very chewy and/or dry). Still, it’s fine for a lunch stop to get in and out quick.

I used to go here a lot, but IMO the food just isn’t as good. I get the same 4 things when I go, and the chicken sometimes seems perfect and sometimes seems tough. It’s just not worth going here anymore for myself.

It’s been a few years since I’ve been here. I used to really dislike it. Tonight I was very pleased. The asparagus was good, I loved the boiled shrimp and the baked fish! I’m still not a fan of their lo mein noodles; they are just too thick for my liking and the flavor was lacking. It’s very clean, and the staff was friendly. I will definitely be back!

This place use to be amazing.
They used to have boiled shrimp, that’s been phased out, the ‘sushi’ is mediocre at best.
The Hot and Sour soup is my fav here.
The egg rolls are also very good.
Everything else is so – so.
All tastes the same .

If you want that old school chineese buffet this is the place. Hasn’t changed in 20 years. Same food same atmosphere. But when you have that craving for chineese buffet food this place hits the spot.
