First timer, and it was absolutely fantastic! Let me start with the brussel sprouts for an appetizer, Absolutely the best we have ever eaten and all four of us were fighting over them! We also had the artichoke dip with pita and it was very good, however, what would of made it better is if their pita bread were thin slices instead of very thick pita and only four pieces, we didn’t have enough pita to finish the dip. I had the crab stuffed African lobster tail over a linguini pesto sauce and it was incredible. My wife had the Miss Trina’s Pasta and boy was that a delight! My mother had the Blackened Scallops and she was very pleased and the sauce was divine. My father had the Chicken Diablo and was looking for something “HOT”, and it was delicious but for him, he was a little let down that it wasn’t “HOT”. I think he wanted it to burn his mouth out like the delicious hot peppers were for our appetizer. For desert the lemon cake was soooo good and the butter pecan cheesecake was the hit of the table. Everything literally was so fantastic that I can’t believe we’ve been driving out to 5 star restaurant’s in Pittsburgh and Cleveland, when we have a 5 star restaurant in our back yard. If you have never been here, it is a must visit.

Lunch time special.
I had the open faced turkey sandwich with mash. It was very good! I celebrated me dad and older brothers heavenly birthdays today. They both passed in 2025.❤️ ✨️❤️

Nice relaxing setting inside. We used donavitos to cater our buisness Christmas party and weren’t satisfied and were hoping it would be better. We were seated within 5 minutes and then the wait for our server began. Our server was Julie and she is not good at waiting more than one table. After about 15 min she came over and I made the mistake of asking for a high chair. She dropped the highchair off and disappeared for another 10 minutes. After receiving our food about 35 minutes later, we did not see her again until she brought our check. No refills the entire meal or anything. The food was very bland and the walleye was incredibly fishy. We then waited 25 minutes after being done eating for our check because she was standing around socializing. We unfortunately won’t be using or eating here again.

A gem in the heart of Struthers. Good is excellant, at least the BBQ Platter and Vegi Lasagna (both off the specials menu). You really need reservations (at least on the weekends); but we enjoyed sitting at the bar so much, we will probably do that in the future.

When I come here the food is good but for some reason I don’t get very good service. More times than not I have them bring out the salad and right behind them is the food. I know you’re thinking that’s kind of being picky but it happens more times than not and I’m sorry I’m coming there to have dinner with somebody I want to be able to eat and relax and have a conversation. That is part of what you are paying for. Also most of the time I hardly get a refill. When I have said something about the service they have turned around and given me an attitude like how dare I say something. Far as as pricey as this place is it should be ran a little bit nicer to the people paying the bill not just regulars

First time here…called ahead to see wait time and was told no wait for a party of two….like another review….we were seated in the area set for TWO parties BOTH of which were over 12 people….we literally were yelling at each other to try to talk….there was seating available in the bar and dining room not sure why we were seated where we were….”Wagyu” sliders were just regular slidersNOT Wagyu they tasted like frozen burgers (cheese onion ring some kind of sauce…iykyk Wagyu is about the beef it doesn’t need a ton of toppers )as did my over cooked entree burger. Blackened Scallops has a very strange consistency to them and didn’t seem cooked enough….the wedding soup was cold and had zero flavor and the serving had one tiny meatball in it. The waitress was kind…listened to everything we had to say offered several different things to try to make up for the terrible food. Manager did not come to the table at all….just comped the food and let the waitress do damage control. Pretty sure that was the first and last time I will be going there.

Went here for an early NYE dinner with my wife. Hadn’t had dinner here for a year or more, so was excited to come back.
We sat at the bar and had great service and a few beverages. Owner even came over to BS a few times. My ribeye was cooked perfectly and wife’s tortellini was awesome!

We had a nice Italian dinner while visiting family in Yoingstown. Our server was a true pro and very friendly. We started with the Italian Shooters and everything about these is right! You’ll have plenty of olive oil to dip your bread into after as well. I tried the Reuben and WOW it was delicious! So much smoked brisket I was spoiled with. The Chicken Parm was a generous portion with a perfectly prepared marinara and can never go wrong with Wedding Soup. Great meal, great atmosphere. Thanks for a memorable visit!

I’ve been a loyal customer for several years. EVERYTHING that comes out of the kitchen is outstanding. When they’re busy and have a wait is usually very short. I can’t say enough good things about Donavito’s.
