Great little Italian restaurant. We went on a holiday weekend ( Valentines weekend) so it was a limited menu. Our meals were great, I had a chicken with a vodka sauce that was excellent, & my husband had the chicken parmigiana & added portobello mushrooms to it. Everything was excellent, & although the desserts are not made there, wherever they get their desserts from they all looked so good. We shared a lemon, berry mascarpone cake, it was out of this world.
We definitely want to come back to try their full menu.

First time here. We came to town to see a show at the UWW Young Theatre.
Food:
The menu offers a great selection of beverages and classic Italian dishes. With Valentine’s Day approaching, they also had some special drinks. I ordered the “Italian Connection,” a simple cocktail made with brandy, amaretto, and Bordeaux cherries. It both smelled and tasted wonderful.
Complimentary breadsticks were brought out along with plates of olive oil and parmesan. They arrived nice and warm, and more were brought out during the meal. Knowing the entrées were generously sized and that we wanted dessert, we skipped appetizers. Our entrées also came with salads. The four of us ordered Chicken Piccata, Puttanesca with Meatballs, Portobello Ravioli, and Chicken Francese.
The salads were good, though not exceptional. My Puttanesca was a bit spicier than expected, but it was excellent. The meatball was firm, the sauce slightly chunky, everything was served hot, and the portions were generous. I also sampled the Chicken Piccata and Chicken Francese, both of which were extremely tender and very flavorful.
Since we saved room for dessert, we ordered the Peanut Butter Cheesecake and the Lemon Berry Mascarpone Cake. Both were very good and a nice way to finish the meal.
Service:
From the time we arrived until we left, we were well taken care of. We had reservations and were seated right away. Our server, Anna, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive, with lots of genuine smiles and conversation. There was always someone checking on water refills and bringing extra breadsticks.
My one complaint was the pacing of the meal. We were in no hurry and specifically mentioned at the beginning that we wanted a relaxed experience. That was going well until our entrées arrived while we were still in the middle of our salads. Our server apologized, but there was simply too much food to fit on the table. Some of us quickly finished our salads to make room, which was exactly what we were hoping to avoid.
Atmosphere:
The restaurant is located in a small indoor mall in the “downtown” area, alongside other restaurants and businesses. You enter through the mall, where there are some dining tables, and then into the restaurant itself, where we were seated. Inside, the restaurant is set up with tables that have views of the street and offers a nice, relaxing ambiance.
While we were there, the restaurant became quite busy. It was noisy, but we were still able to have conversations. The temperature inside the restaurant was comfortable, though the mall area felt a bit cool for diners seated there.
Overall, it was a very good experience. I would have appreciated the pacing of the food to better match the relaxed atmosphere, especially since I had mentioned that preference at the start of the meal. Nice people, excellent food, inventive drinks, and a comfortable environment. I would definitely stop again.

Huge shout out to the staff here. Managed to accommodate us, without a reservation, right before the UWW family fest rush. Our server was great. A smidge overzealous if anything. Apparently they have a competition for best reviews. The food was very good indeed. Especially the meatball puttanesca. Decent spice, excellent flavor. Everything our group had was thoroughly enjoyed. Good portion size and fair price. Fairly chill vibe in the place. Recommended.

My husband decided to take me here for a date night after randomly finding the restaurant on Google Maps; we weren’t quite sure what to expect. What a great place! A true gem! I am so glad he stumbled upon Fanatico. Our waiter Vincent was fabulous— he was very attentive and friendly. The food (we had the special: ribeye & shrimp tagliatelle, cheese ravioli, mozzarella sticks, garlic sticks) and drinks (red sangria, Joel Gott, Brandy Alexander) were fantastic. The atmosphere here is so cozy and charming. We really look forward to coming back!!

Incredible food! Slightly up there in price, but the quality of the food makes it entirely worth it. Our server Tabby was great, and didn’t care that we got here only 30 minutes before close (we’re sorry). Very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. This place is a must if you like amazing Italian food in a quaint beautiful setting. Chicken Parmigana was my entree and it was spectacular. Our server Kailee K was incredibly friendly and outgoing. She was attentive to our needs. The atmosphere was relaxed but professional. I bought the tortellini pesto, it was creamy and rich, would buy again. The food came out in a timely fashion, we had no issues during our visit. 10/10 would recommend.

I’m an incoming freshman at Whitewater and we moved in today, stopped in for dinner here afterward and got wonderful service by our waitress, Anna!! She’s an upperclassman at the college and was very kind to me as well as supportive. My food was amazing and my whole family left happy and full. the restaurant is BEAUTIFUL, featuring an inside dining area as well as an indoor courtyard with a beautiful floral ceiling decor. Anna checked on us often and gave us updates on our foods status, and refilled our breadsticks often for me. She also answered all my odd questions about the food despite her only having worked there for 2 weeks (?). Overall amazing experience and even more Amazing food.
