Presentation on every dish was amazing. Seafood dishes were fantastic. Drinks on point. Service out of this world. Every single steak that came out at the table was the same, lacked flavor. Mine in particular was ordered rare and came out at a low medium. Which is what it is. Problem is that I’ve never had a ribeye that was tough to cut and chew. Had a side of seafood risotto and it was absolutely fantastic. Significant amount of medium sized shrimp throughout the dish that we perfect in cook and flavor.

Reservations highly recommended. This is an extremely popular venue for eating. It has a bar area always packed at 5pm, and then other areas for date night to groups.
There’s a lot of variety on the menu so most should be able to find something they like. The atmosphere is trendy and the staff is always nice.
Everything I’ve had there has been good. I haven’t found a dish that has completely wowed me, but for the atmosphere and choices I still enjoy it.

My daughter celebrated her wedding in the back area of Draft. It was truly a wonderful evening! Regina and the rest of the staff were amazing to work with. They helped with the planning and decorating and the room looked beautiful. The bartender was friendly and made great old-fashions. The chef and the staff served a delicious three course meal to 65 people. The timing of the food being served was extremely efficient and every dish was prepared perfectly! Thank you for making our special occasion even more memorable!

The plating of food looks great, but the menu itself feels bizarre. Its like a mix of a steakhouse and asian food but they also have lobster tacos? Its confusing. The service was unbelievably slow, 30 minutes to get a can of cider is not okay. The porterhouse was decent, not worth $70~. The waitress asked if we wanted onions and mushrooms with the steak and we said yeah, we were not told it would be an additional $7.
Overall, the menu is weird, the steak is overpriced, and the service was extremely slow, and the atmosphere was very nice.

Draft Gastropub in Appleton absolutely lives up to the hype — but be warned, this place gets busy.
We had a 6pm reservation on a Friday night and I’m pretty sure we grabbed the last parking spot in the lot. We arrived about 30 minutes early hoping to enjoy a glass of wine at the bar before dinner. Every seat and table in the bar area was taken, but we stood back from the bar and the staff quickly greeted us with cocktail menus. Even though it was packed, service was fast, friendly, and incredibly attentive.
The atmosphere is one of my favorite parts of this place. It has a moody, upscale feel, but it still manages to feel relaxed and approachable rather than stuffy. Between the warm lighting, wine wall, and lively crowd, the energy in the room makes it feel like a special night out.
The menu has something for everyone — burgers, pizzas, and elevated entrées — so it’s easy to come with a group and know everyone will find something they want. At one point we watched a server prepare a pasta tableside inside a giant parmesan wheel, which was such a cool touch and definitely something we want to try next time.
Everything we ordered was excellent, and the service stayed strong even with how busy the restaurant was. The only minor note is that we did have to ask for water glasses and silverware after sitting down, but our server was otherwise attentive throughout the meal.
Overall, Draft Gastropub is absolutely worth the visit, and we’re already looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu.

What a beautiful place! This was our first time at Draft Gastropub and we’ll definitely be back. The staff was very attentive, and the atmosphere is upscale yet still relaxed and comfortable.
The bar is quite small, and unfortunately the couple next to us absolutely refused to scootch over. Not even a little bit. (Scootching was clearly not part of their evening plans.) My husband was a good sport and didn’t mind standing while we studied the wonderfully expansive menu.
The menu itself is eclectic, with so many unique choices. I had the Thai Chicken & Waffle Sliders — a Belgian waffle topped with crispy chicken, cucumbers, carrot slaw, and Thai peanut sauce. I’m hooked.
My husband enjoyed the French Dip Sandwich with Iowa premium prime rib, au jus, Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, and horseradish crème. Also delicious.
We came for dinner and left already planning what we’ll order next time.

Very nice place. The food was good, large portions at reasonable pricing. Serving staff may have been shorthanded as it took forever to get drink refills. Overall a good experience.

We celebrated a family birthday with a party of 6. The customer service from the moment we entered until we left was exceptional. We ordered a variety of things across the menu and we sampled each others plates. We all said the shrimp appetizer was the best shrimp dish any of us had ever had. The meats were well cooked and well seasoned, veggies were fresh and flavorful. Desserts were great! Our waitress had worked here from the start…it shows as she knows the menu well and was helpful and provided excellent table service!
My only complaint was the scallops add on for a surf and turf and the scallops as my main course. They were both over salted and the main course version should have had less sauce. They were cooked to perfection both ways but the salt component got in the way of 100% satisfaction. Still, with everything else being excellent we will come back for our next family birthday…probably in a couple months.

I take myself out for solo dinner dates once every month. This was by far my fav little night out alone. The bartenders were so nice!! Two men and one girl who also complemented me saying how pretty I was. The food was SO good. Drinks amazing as well. I wish i got the names of the people serving me but i hope they see this because yall really made my night! Highly recommend.

Fantastic dining experience. The food was stunning, desert was delicious, and the vibes were very nice. Not too formal, not too casual, good first date kind of place. Not really unique per say, just not outstanding.
The toughest part of the experience was getting a table. Expect a 30-45 minute wait.

They were all great and worth the money spent! The cocktails were also all yummy.
