We had a wonderful dining experience at Papalazzo Marrakech. I ordered the chicken penne arrabbiata, which was perfectly cooked with a rich, flavorful sauce, while my husband had the chicken pizza with caramelised onions—absolutely delicious and beautifully balanced.
We finished with the chocolate fondant and ice cream, which was indulgent, warm, and the perfect end to the meal.
A special mention to Seher, who provided outstanding service throughout our visit. She was friendly, attentive, and very easy to communicate with as she spoke excellent English, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Highly recommend Papalazzo Marrakech for great food and exceptional service—we would definitely return!
We had an amazing experience having dinner two days ago and we decided to go again tonight tospend the New Year Eve in the same restaurant and this is because the outstanding hospitality from Sahar.
Serving us and being very flexible with all our requests.
Tonight will be served by Hamza who reflected a very good level of hospitality as well thanks for the amazing time and the delicious food we had .
The restaurant wasn’t very busy and yet the service was extremely slow and chaotic.
Took ages for a waiter to take our order, when he did the one item I had chosen (beef carpaccio) was unavailable, this would have been good to know up front. I changed my order quickly and then they disappeared. We finished our drinks, were not asked whether we would like new drinks we had to flag the waiter down.
They seemed to have power issues also as the lights kept going on and off, no explanation was offered.
Our starters took forever to arrive and they were average.
We saw someone’s pizza sit on the side for ages must have been stone cold by the time they got it.
Our main dishes eventually arrived, I had the green rigatoni which was so salty I could barely stomach it. My partner had the porcini tagliatelle which was served in a saucepan (either that is some pretentious decision to serve it that way or they ran out of crockery which I wouldn’t put past them). He ate all his dish as was so hungry by this time but he wasn’t bowled over.
Wasn’t cheap, service was poor and the ambience was quite uncomfortable, the staff did not look happy to be there and there clearly were communication issues amongst them. Wouldn’t recommend.
A huge thank you to Sahar
Sahar served us and I chose her favourite main course for my selection. Seafood linguine
We will 100% return again when next in the area!
