I know most Popeyes are horrible simply because of the people they tend to hire. But this one right here is ALWAYS bad. The service is horrible. The people are too. The young workers ALWAYS have an attitude or being rude. You ask for your food fresh they get sooo mad AND still don’t give it to you fresh. This has been going on for years. They ALWAYS hire the wrong people. I ordered the new Freddy meal a few days ago….HORRIBLE!!! The cheese curds looked like a 3 year old made them and they just POURED the seasoning all over the middle of the tenders. Just dumped salt on and sent me on my way. Didn’t give me any sauce that comes with it. They need to be shut down this has been like this for years I’ve been in Glenwood for over 15 years this Popeyes has never been anything over 2stars on a good day. And the Wendy’s next door is the same way.

waiting for service is extremely long.I feel empathy for the hard working staff there due to understaffing. I saw one lady with a lower extremity injury.Another lady asked me ,” can I help you” and walked away forgetting to come back before I could answer. The staff were overwhelmed. Its too bad management makes excuses why the wait is so long.We need to do better. I am changing my respnse from earlier this week.

Briana was awesome. Despite being short staffed and busy, her attitude and customer service was amazing. All the ladies and the gentleman cooking did a wonderful job. Even though it was busy, they didn’t have you waiting long and the food was nice and hot. Keep up the great work. We need more people like you all.

I placed a mobile order. I had to wait 40 minutes before I actually received my food. They made me pull around to the front door from the drive thru because my fries weren’t done. When they bring the food, my drink is wrong and the staff member told me I was wrong and to just look at the receipt. I pointed it out that she was indeed wrong and she laughed. There was no sauce in the bag. I paid extra for those, had to make her go back inside to get that. The fries I was supposedly waiting on were cold. I get home and open my Mac & cheese, it’s half way full…if even that. I couldn’t even eat it. It was cold and mostly burnt cheese. My tenders were small and overcooked. Both my son and I got a bad stomach ache after eating the other items. I will definitely not be back. I rather travel to a better location than to ever visit this one again. This is not the first bad experience either but after this last visit, I had to leave a review. Please do not waste your money here!!!

Chicken strips in the past have been good. Fast and friendly service here typically. Must be short staffed still because I had to wait a half an hour for some hot fresh chicken for my meeting but it was worth the wait. The chicken especially the breast was juicy, moist and delicious even when heated the next day. Thank you to the friendly and funny young lady in the drive thru for making me laugh saying she don’t make the Popeyes chicken prices!! She’s awesome! I also appreciate her trying to work out a deal for me. ❤️

This place is horrible and really need some attention or need to be closed down. Customer service is nonexistent there. They act like they can’t hear on the intercom, everyone who work the drive thru window is rude, and the wait time is ridiculous. This is the very reason why alot of establishments don’t last. I sat in the drive thru over 35 minutes and that’s ridiculous. I definitely will be writing corporate about this place.
