the service was great! the waitress was lovely. she accommodated our request for a quieter table (we were a party of six), and when we asked for alterations to specific dishes, she was obliging and affable.
we were surprised to learn that the menus (both the regular and the plant-based) at this location were different than those at bayview.
the non-vegans in our group loved their meals. they had various pizzas (pictured) and the funghi salad.
for vegans, i would say the bayview location was much better. i was a little disappointed by my spaghettini alla trapanese; i had asked for mushrooms on mine instead of tomatoes, but in retrospect the tomatoes would have added some flavour. it was a bit bland — needed more basil, garlic, lemon, or something. and the vegan cheese on the pizzas was different, and not as tasty, as the bayview location’s.
we also had the vegan caesar, which was fine but, again, better at bayview. it was not as advertised — it had no avocado and no cashews.
for dessert, we tried the vegan chocolate coconut panna cotta. the description also differed from the reality: there were no chocolate chips, no fresh coconut sauce, and no real taste of coffee liqueur.
The atmosphere felt more geared toward an older crowd, with mellow vibes and old classical music playing in the background . Service was nice and welcoming.
️ The meals were tasty overall—pizza was very good and the Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful. I did ask for the chicken in the Asiago dish to be well done, but it came out undercooked with rubbery skin.
Prices are fair, but they’ve stopped serving complimentary bread—it now costs $4, which takes away from the overall value.
Still, a good dining spot with tasty dishes and a relaxing vibe.
We visited for a friend’s birthday before heading out dancing, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming it truly felt like a family-oriented restaurant. The family photos on the wall were such a beautiful touch and added to the charm.
The menu had so many tempting options, it was hard to choose! Our server, Anthony, was fantastic friendly, informative, and patient with all our questions. My friends ordered the insalata frutti di mare, and I went with the chicken asiago absolutely delicious!
I would highly recommend this location for any special occasion or casual outing. We’ll definitely be back.
