I have enjoyed dions pizza for over 30 years , even being very high priced it was always worth it ..till now , the pizzas we brought home to enjoy tonight were toppings and bread , no sauce at all . I called the asst mngr and they remade my pizza but it was exactly the same . I called and told them I did not want another pizza just don’t understand why the dont put sauce anymore . The assitant manager. Jared told me he checked himself and there was sauce in other words called me a lier. Sad to say but no more 50 dollar sauce less pizza for me.

I’m not a real big pizza kinda guy, BUT, Dion’s could possibly be the best pizza I’ve had. The thin crust supreme with extra sauce is dank! I usually eat pizza once every 3-4 months… I’ve been to Dion’s twice in 3 weeks already. That’s sayin something. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming as well. No doubt we’ll be back soon.

I think the service and the indoor atmosphere is better than the food now. Lol.
The pizza dough upsets my stomach now. It still tastes good, just doesn’t sit well. I personally like the family salad. They’re inexpensive (IMO) and they have a lot of variety and they’re all good.
It’s pricey. Every time I go I feel like it’s more expensive than last. Generally if you sit in with drinks a pizza and salad you’re about $70 in. That’s kinda high folks. But you’ll have leftovers so there’s that.
An ABQ staple. I get it. But it’s no longer one of the best in town.

I always really like Dion’s, the pizza and sandwiches are consistent and fresh. They always make the food the same way, which is ideal if you liked something and want the same thing. They also have incredible ingredients to make every meal and it shows!

Dion’s is not what it used to be the past three times I e eaten it like 6months apart at that! I’ve gotten sick to my stomach this time I had pizza and salad but it’s happened with the subs too, now my kids are sick from it too and my mom the only ones not sick are the ones whom didn’t eat it which is my hubby I will not be going back ever again I don’t think as this is the 3rd time Ive gotten sick to my stomach and I’m pregnant this go around so this is not fun let me tell you!!! Oh and this is from 3 different locations too this one is the one now but also two locations in Albuquerque have done this to me.

Sitting in my car 45 minutes since placing my order. Took a big order after mine so my one sandwich had to wait. Really crappy service. Very poorly managed. Not nice at all. Ticket # 121 in at 11:58, quoted 12:13, actual 12:40. Thus is not the first time this has happened I’m so disappointed in the management here.
I answered the reply to my review however no response.

We had a small birthday celebration for my nephew here and it was very nice. The restaurant was not crowded at all and there was plenty of space for all 18 of us, including my grandson in a bassinet stroller. The service was great! Our food was out in a timely fashion, and the kiddos enjoyed watching the pizzas being made.

Update: tried another local pizza place……. Dion’s tasted better even though Dion’s gave the guests bubble guts.
So I wanted to try some Italian in New Mexico. This place has many other locations and the reviews seem somewhat consistent. When you walk in, it has that older pizza feeling with the booth and tan color. You can host your little league team here. The large pizza is 15.99. That gets you cheese and sauce. Each additional topping: 2.50. The side salad was 6 dollars. It has bacon, cheese, eggs, ham, lettuce. The ranch is a thick a sauce, not thin. Just fyi.
The unsweetened tea was soured.
Real talk: This is a totally guilt free pizza experience! Don’t worry about the magnesium citrate! this pizza will clean your intestines out! And if your not satisfied with the first cleansing, the leftover two days later will most certainly get you right!

This is another brilliant location for Dion’s. It’s right in the middle of many medical and shopping destinations. The staff here are pleasant and attentive to the customers. You can tell it’s a popular spot for locals and travelers alike. Our small pepperoni pizzas from here are awesome!

This is my boyfriends favorite place to eat at and we ate together. I got two slices of pizza and my boyfriend got a turkey sandwich. Delicious food and friendly stuff! We are definitely coming back.
