During my recent visit to Knolla’s Pizza East Central for takeout, I found the food to be impressive, though the service had room for improvement.
Food:
The mozzarella sticks were absolutely top-notch—crispy on the outside and perfectly gooey on the inside. They were easily the highlight of my order.
I also got the Chicago-style Chicken Alfredo pizza, which had a great combination of flavors. The crust was well-baked, the chicken was tender, and the Alfredo sauce was rich and creamy. However, I felt the pizza could have used more cheese to really bring everything together.
Service:
While the food was enjoyable, the service at the front counter didn’t quite match the quality of the meal. The woman working, Carry O, wasn’t very welcoming, which made the pickup experience less pleasant. A bit more friendliness and engagement would have made a big difference.
Overall:
Knolla’s Pizza delivers great food, especially their mozzarella sticks, and the Chicken Alfredo pizza has a lot of potential if they add more cheese. With a little improvement in customer service, this could be an even better spot for a great takeout experience.

I love the 80s music and feel that Knolls gives you. The whole atmosphere here is like being back in the 80s I love it and the food is amazing we order the works it’s the best tasting pizza I think I’ve ever had. The cheese bread was really good. The drinks are small but that’s okay with free refills. This place deserves a ten and most importantly you get your moneys worth and then some.

Possibly the best crust in town! Delicious pizza with generous toppings. The breads sticks were excellent and salads were fresh.
Desserts are really delectable, tirimisu, carrot cake and lemon something. DELICIOUS!!!

Placed a medium size pickup order of 5 pizzas and a calzone and received our Coney Island, Alfredo, Taco, Buffalo Chicken, and Pepperoni New York style pizzas along with a Spinach and cheese calzone very nicely. We did order them somewhat special and they got most of the instructions correct. Asked for no lettuce on the Taco pizza but there was lettuce on it. We did ask for no celery on the buffalo chicken pizza and no mushrooms on the Alfredo pizza and those were correct. Didn’t receive the Ranch dressing with the Buffalo Chicken pizza and the container with the taco sauce / salsa for the taco pizza was put in the box sideways so when they shut the box it cracked / opened the container so it was leaking on the edge of the pizza. The taco pizza came with a side of sour cream. The Buffalo Chicken pizza is good and I was confused about BBQ sauce as the base but it works. Not a typical buffalo chicken pizza like I find near home at Roosters which is the benchmark for Buffalo Chicken pizza. Be sure to get some Tiramisu, Salted Caramel Brownie, and / or other desserts too, delicious! We’ll be ordering again. We spent about $10 per person.

Seriously the best pizza we’ve had in Wichita this far. We are from NY so our pizza standards are super high… and this place is up there. As you can tell by the pictures… we ate it up!! We ordered takeout – a half cheese and half pepperoni pizza, wings and meatballs. We have yet to find wings like back in Buffalo, NY but everything was good. Will definitely be frequenting Knolla’s from here on out!!

Pizza was great. Customer service not so much. Cashier sitting on the floor, that same cashier brought our pizza to our table and I noticed the pizza wasn’t cut very well. I politely asked her if she could have the cooks re cut the pizza.
She took our pizza and brought it back in 20 seconds and the pizza was exactly the same. I had to use the pizza spatula to cut a slice…

Its been over a decade since i been able to eat one of these pizzas. You can find good topings all over the united states, but what you are going to have a hard time finding is dough that can beat Knollas. I worked here 12 years ago and ive worked at pizza resturants in 5 states from the north west to down south…no body beats knollas dough. Darinda you Rock! Keep up the good work. Thanks for a puzzatactular time at your place. Ps. Steve gave me a souvenir…..one of your sporks….
