Absolutely the worst service ever. Sat at the bar and watched our burgers get cooked and SIT for 15 minutes before they brought them to us. Manager was friendly, but other wait staff was not.

The only reason they get a 1 is because I can’t give a 0… food was the worst Steak N Shake I have ever ate… everything tastes like it had been sitting for hours… not to mention we were given half filled containers of fries… shakes were good… The lady in the drive thru was very nice

This place looks like it is being run into the ground. No up keep on outside. Trash in the grounds, deferred maintenance, etc. Inside same. Overflowing trash cans etc. I have been there when service was good but this visit we waited a long time to order and then the order didn’t show up
There was obviously something happening between the manager and the wait staff as they kept congregating in the back of the kitchen. After long time and after a couple complaints, they brought our food – it was cold – obviously had been sitting for a while.
We said no thanks and left. Previous visit, the burger was good, fries were old and cold, and Malt tasted off. Scratching this place off my list. Too bad. I like steak and shake but this franchise looks broken.

Service is ALWAYS slow as hell. I don’t even know what to say. We have been here several times. Always terrible. Outer Loop is even worse! We waited for what feels like 25 minutes for a shake and decided to leave. Then our meal had been rang up differently than our coupon. Manager fixed the prices. Shake came while checking out. Server gave it to our son anyway. That’s the only reasons for the extra star on this trip.

I’ve always had great service at the Steak and Shake chain… but this location proved to be the exception, time and time again. The wait staff is rude, the food, undercooked, and the lines pathetically long. Many times, I have come around 10pm only to find them locking the doors, many times directly in my face, despite being the posted dining room hours until midnight. My most recent time, I went through the drive through. 30 minutes to get four cars through, with at least two of those four receiving incorrect orders. My fries were cold and barely cooked, if at all, and my burger was not how I had ordered it as well as very sloppily put together. Avoid this location at all costs. Take your business to another location, as this one is not worthy of the Steak and Shake name.

The food here is really good and usually the service is pretty normal as far as wait times. Sometimes it takes longer than it should. Especially to check out, I had to wait 20 minutes once to pay. But I still come back here, it’s close to home and like I said it’s usually pretty normal service and the food is excellent. I had the best milkshake I’ve ever had here once, I think they used more cookie butter than normal and it was incredible.

Let’s be honest, steak and shake is not fancy. But it’s fairly cheap and usually pretty tasty. This particular location is smaller and had some less enthusiastic employees compared to others. I’d give it 3.5 if I could. Servers were helpful and kind, but it was obvious from watching things that they weren’t stellar employees. No sense of urgency or concern for impressing their managers that I could see. Food was a bit slow in coming and only happened because management was gently pressing things forward the whole way. Ultimately I won’t likely be back to this location when I can go elsewhere and have the same thing, in a better space with a more lively set of employees. The only person working with any sense of urgency was the shift leader or manager, a shame.

They must have just had a rush, every table was dirty and no one was in a hurry to clean them or help us. When they did acknowledge us they wiped off s table but didn’t get our drinks or provide menus. We tracked down a different server to take our drink order and I grabbed our menus off another table. The food was good when it finally arrived they gave us a shake for free for our wait. It took over an hour for our meal.

Very very long wait for a simple carry out when there where few customers. Once i had my food, my milk shake took another 15 minutes. Not a clean appearance, and employes did not seem to be a team. Everyone kept passing tasks to the next person. I love steak n shake, but i will not revisit this location.
