One of the best pizzerias I’ve ever been to! It’s been so hard for me to find really good pizza in VA as a NY transplant. One that came from a very heavy Italian family. This place hit the spot! It was so good! And I ordered multiple desserts and they were all amazing! I’m sad I live over an hour away but that’s okay, it’s worth the drive. Everyone was super nice and friendly. The inside was so cool and super clean! Can’t wait to come back and try another pizza and the gelato. Thanks for having multiple veggie options!

So much fun in here! I was reminded of Arthur Avenue establishments in the Bronx for my first time visit tonight! Authentic Italian atmosphere & food. I enjoyed the Serano pizza. It has delicious sasuage & tomato & fresh buffalo mozzarella cheese on top of a large thin crust. The crust & toppings are delicious. I would say the crust could have been a bit more crisp. No complaints though! Also my pizza came fast out of the large impressive ovens! And the so helpful and complimentary server welcome me as a newbie to Pi-Nappo with free cannoli samples! These brought me back to Little Italy nights out in Manhattan. And the gelato! I tried strawberry with fresh chuunks of the fruit in it. I have been to Rome & Venice and this place is like pizza yum-times in Italy. Go!

We popped into Pi-Napo at 3 on a Friday afternoon, not super hungry but looking to tide ourselves over until a late dinner. This pizza was so good we would have been happy to spoil our dinner by eating more.
Their pizzas are simple, nice and thin, with just a touch of chat on the crust. The ingredients are too notch, the dough, the tomato sauce and the cheese are absolutely delicious. We got a salad as well, which was nice and fresh with a tasty dressing to boot. I didn’t expect a ‘spice bar’, but there it was, with basil, hot pepper, etc to add to your pizza as you like.
The gelato looked enticing, rotating around in a cooler at the front, but we skipped it this time. We will be back for sure, I’m looking forward to it already.
Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, fast service and friendly staff top it off.

Stopped in while we were traveling because these guys have a 4.9 rating on Google. I have to say, it’s well deserved.
We ordered the $12.45 lunch special and choose the Pomodori. The ingredients are fresh and the crust is perfectly crispy. Unfortunately, they kill you on the beer prices, so stick with soda if you are on a budget.
The gelato and sorbet are great and they have a number of flavors.
Cute atmosphere, great mob hits music, fantastic outdoor space, and plenty of inside seating.
♿ Friendly-ish. Like many old buildings, bathrooms aren’t as easy to get into as we’d like, but they are well equipped inside.

Cool place. Almost no basil on the margherita. I did ask and they gave me some more. I’m not impressed by the quality of the cheese. I thought this was going to be an amazing pizza and it’s kind of not, the crust is very very good yes but the cheese ruins it. Also the sauce is okay but doesn’t match up to the quality of the crust. Somehow they managed to fill the cannoli and keep it in the fridge and yet it’s still crispy so kudos to them. My vote still goes to pupatella.

The inside is so charming, with large tables perfect for groups, beautifully painted walls, and a spinning gelato machine that adds to the fun atmosphere. We ordered ahead on the website and picked up, and the person at the register kindly gave us an extra cannoli, which was SUCH a sweet gesture.
The cannoli was delicious—dare I say comparable to, or even better than, the ones from Mike’s Pastry in Boston. The pizza was really good as well. We ordered the Napo, and the bread was a chewy, soft delight. Would definitely come back!

Tried the fungi pie, and being from the NJ / Philadelphia / NYC area, I was kind of disappointed. The crust is nice and thin, but despite being a little burnt on the bottom, isn’t crispy. The onions on the pizza overpowered the mushrooms such that it tasted like an onion pie rather the fungi. Perhaps, the pies with red sauce are less bland. The pies are a good size though. We did have a nice large salad, which was good. The people are nice and the service was fast and good.

Pi Napo is hands down my favorite restaurant in Charlottesville! You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Tonight we got the Pomodori and it was delicious, as always. The staff is super friendly and accommodating every time we go.
We also got a couple of cannolis, and they were seriously some of the best I’ve ever had. The whole place just has such a warm, welcoming vibe, and the food is always fresh and authentic.
I recommend Pi Napo to anyone in Cville or just passing through. My only small complaint is that parking can be a bit tricky, but it’s 100% worth it!

Pizza bottoms were all burned. They are large but so is the price and they won’t let you do half toppings in each side, which is especially difficult for families with kids. Very little cheese too. The staff was super sweet and I love the seating and cleanliness of the restaurant. No onsite parking either.

PI-NAPO Pizzeria isn’t just pizza—it’s pure Italian poetry on a plate. The flavors sing with sun-kissed tomatoes, silky mozzarella, and dough kissed by fire. Every bite feels like a mini trip to Naples itself. This spot doesn’t just serve food, it serves la dolce vita with style.
