Neil the manager was fantastic from start to finish, he was extremely helpful and accommodating.

Stood outside the restraunt today 5 minutes before opening time with two very hungry young kids (parents will know the scenario). 11:30 was the advertised opening time, however 11:46 came and the doors were still locked, staff milling around inside, seemingly setting up for service, not even making eye contact to appologise for the delay. Decided to abandon the attempt shortly after and went to Franco Manca (another pizza restraunt, with great service).
I suppose what I’m trying to say is, it doesn’t cost anything for good service and some decent manners. All they had to do was open the door, say we’re running a little late and let us be seated. We’d have been happy to wait at the table whilst they finished off. Keeping kids waiting outside on a cold day for 15 minutes just doesn’t work. Poor show PE.

Went into pizza express on Friday 12th just after 6pm and the place was relatively packed so a good atmosphere and I have to say the staff were amazing food was on the table so fast I was amazed (big up to the crew behind the line) . Jade our server though was absolutely excellent she was being pulled from one table to another in quick succession and back again yet you still felt as though you were her only customer, she was so professional it amazed me, especially as I have experience in this environment. I hope she is proud of her self and the management and company appreciate what she does.

We came in for my birthday meal and was served by Adam, he was an absolute delight and couldn’t do enough for us. He was so friendly and had a huge smile on his face the whole time. He really made my birthday feel special, thank you Adam! My 5 year old daughter is normally too scared to speak to waiters/waitresses, but she actually ordered her dessert all by herself for the first time because he made her feel so comfortable. The food was delicious too!

Visited here last Thursday! Went around 3pm, wasn’t very busy but food was incredible! I wish I took note of our server’s name, she was so kind, attentive and talkative to us – really made our experience! Also good to know the staff like the playlist Pizza was great, doughballs were slightly overdone but still great and pasta was amazing too! Definitely will be coming again!

I rarely leave reviews however the service we received at Exeter Pizza Express yesterday evening deserves a review. Sorry I didn’t catch the lady’s name however she was constantly running around all evening paying attention to all customers. Attentive, knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. Food as always was great

Can’t rate the food as didn’t stay. Don’t mind staff having a conversation, but waited (and waited), they didn’t even pause to acknowledge us. V disappointing. Shan’t go back.
Went to Vine instead. Immediate pleasant smile, lovely service. Spent nearly £90 and it was worth it.

Even though I didn’t eat there (although the pizzas looked amazing), I would like to thank that nice young employee lady who took her time to charge my mobile phone when I had lost contact with all my friends in the busy market. After the phone was charged I was able to contact my friends and meet up with them again. Thanks again.
