Country House Restaurant in Naples, Florida is one of those places that feels like home the second you walk in—and for our family, it basically is. Formerly known as The Lazy Rooster, this spot has been a family favorite for 25+ years, and the rebrand hasn’t changed what matters most: great food, huge portions, and genuinely good people.
I had the Southern Chicken Biscuit Sandwich, and wow. Imagine the best parts of a chicken biscuit and biscuits and gravy deciding to team up. Comfort food perfection. My wife went with the Chef Salad, which was fresh, loaded, and honestly could’ve fed the entire table by itself. The kids both got burgers—one with fries, one with onion rings—and they crushed them (always the ultimate quality test).
The food quality was excellent, and the portions are no joke. These are “consider splitting a meal” portions. I couldn’t finish my plate, and that salad could’ve supported a small village.
It was easy to get in, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the cherry on top? The owner was the one waiting our table. That kind of personal touch is rare and says everything you need to know about this place.
Country House Restaurant is classic, reliable, and still delivering after decades. If you’re in Naples and want a hearty brunch with zero pretense and all the heart, this is the spot ❤️

Shannon was the best server ever and the food was phenomenal. She was welcoming and always checked on me when I needed anything at the table. I would definitely come back again and refer any of my friends and family members. Thank you again Shannon. Happy Holidays!!!

They a home atmosphere, make their own orange juice, nice mom and pop place, have outdoor seating options, huge cinnamon rolls that many people ordered, variety of food choices, prices were typical for Naples FL dinners. I would eat here again.

It is a small little breakfast and lunch restaurant. I am not one that goes for the up and the up. Look, just simple, basic diner. It’s perfect for breakfast for me and their breakfast is off the chain perfect. I recommend getting the freshly squeezed orange juice and any omelette of your choice. It’s enough for two people
Lunch was not bad either, but to be honest with you, breakfast was better

In town from Illinois. I can not explain how excited I am that google search brought Us to this place! I had the Alvocado Omelet Special ( I swear there were a dozen eggs in it.) Was out of this world! Amazing! Very delicious! The bread was homemade, fresh, and very good! To top mine off I had the potato cake, which I haven’t had in years! My boyfriend had the homemade biscuits and gravy (1/2 order) He said it was delicious and I agree 100% as I had to taste it too..My mother had the Rise and Shine platter. Which she enjoyed very much and loved the homemade bread..My little one had the Chicken Tender kids meal the tenders were huge and tasted great!!! Quick service! Staff was very friendly, Great environment. Awesome way to put some country into the city!!! Definitely HIGHLY recommend!!!! Thank you for having us!!!

Good breakfast food. I got the 3egg Rise n Shine breakfast with pancakes. The flavor of the food was good. The service was excellent. The decor was a little dated. Overall I recommend this restaurant

Absolutely fantastic! I got a veggie omelette that actually had broccoli in it lol but all kidding aside it was a very big portion and the red potato home fries were spectacular. large Rye toast, Texas style. It was pretty busy with one waitress and they managed very well. I saw other meals coming out that also looked great. Nice Country quaint atmosphere I would highly recommend this place

I paid $100 for cold food. Our food sat in the window for 10mins. I used to love this place but will not come back. The server was nice but again I will not come back and pay money for cold food..
Response to Rick: is that what they said? Maybe having a meeting with them. Any food in the window should be ran immediately. I also paid for everything minus my plate. If your comment is regarding not eating the food. Would you eat cold food? I don’t think you would. I love your restaurant but people come to eat hot food.
