Sabai Sabai in Lake Zurich offers delicious Thai food with rich, authentic flavors. The dishes were fresh, well-seasoned, and nicely presented — definitely some of the better Thai food in the area. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming too.
The only downside was the service — while not bad, it could be a bit more attentive and timely. A little more focus on customer experience would easily make this a 5-star spot. Overall, great food and worth a visit if you’re craving flavorful Thai cuisine!

We had the hot sake, egg rolls, sabai sabai noodles and panang curry. Everything was super delicious. We got seated as walk ins and the atmosphere is wonderful with lots of guests. We got our food very quick for evening service

Delightful authentic thai food, one of the best thai restaurants I’ve ever had in united states. Great service as well as the taste. Lastly i just want to give a small advice, i saw that they had a POS machine but somehow they prefer to use traditional way. Not a biggie but its way harder for me to read it. Hope they going to use proper way after this!!!

We really enjoyed both of the dishes we got here! The shrimp tempura sushi was great, and the pad thai was comforting and flavorful. My husband really liked the Thai iced tea. Fast service, and our server was very friendly. Definitely recommend!

The food here is always super good. But today the server forgot about our table. We were sat at a table given water and then forgotten about. Until I got up and asked for a server. When we got the food there was a chip in my wife’s plate. Which is super dangerous from a food safety standpoint. A physical hazard. A danger waiting to happen.

My friends and I were here the weekend of Winterfest and we anticipated it would be busy so we made a reservation ahead of time. Despite having a reservation it was clear they were having difficulty managing the high traffic. We were seated about 20 minutes after our reservation time and the service was just okay. Our food was brought out in bits and pieces. I will say everyone really enjoyed their entrees and the food was superb. If it hadn’t been for that I would give fewer Stars.

We were looking for a restaurant that wouldn’t be too far to walk to from Main Street. They had a great menu and it was a block from Main Street. Very easy to get to. Sat on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful day – thank you for the umbrellas to provide shade. The food was incredible and the portions were perfect. Filled up and didn’t have to carry around leftovers. All of the employees were friendly and kept moving. If you like Thai food, go here. If you’re not sure, go here! The only thing that brought down an overall star was that a tip was added for a group of 4 with no notice about that practice. I understand that tourist areas sometimes need to do that. It wasn’t labeled as a tip and I asked if that’s what it was or I could have tipped double. Service was good but not that good. Overall, go here and order anything and everything. The food and the people were great!
UPDATE – We had to come back here because the food is incredible! The original post was from August 2023 and we were in town with a different group of family this time. We mentioned this place and they wanted to check it out. We started out on the patio but the weather got a little brisk shortly after we ordered. They were very accommodating and found us room inside as quickly as they could. The food was still great and the service was fantastic. We will be back here for sure!
