Hands down one of our favorite places for a great burger for lunch. We usually get the house burger with peanut butter but tried the Pineapple Express this visit. It is my new favorite! This burger has a good amount of heat but also a sweetness because of the jam. If you like heat, try the Pineapple Express burger! Husband tried the Gene Autry smash burger on a pretzel roll and loved it. Service is always great. If you don’t mind the smoke and are looking for a great burger stop at Franklin House you won’t be disappointed.

First time that I’ve ever been here. Been a long time resident and have never made the trip but got together with some friends for a lunch and got the tacos. The street tacos have way better flavor than the traditional tacos but unfortunately when the food came out they were at about room temperature. Nothing against the bartender she was taking care of the entire bar and the patron sitting at the tables and booths unfortunately the flavor was just okay in the temperature was not very good.

Great food!! Only ordered the food to go, never been inside to eat. They have the best grilled chicken sandwich (add cheese and bacon). Had this several times now and it’s always great! The fries are good too if they are fresh. Couple of times the fries were hard as a rock and I couldn’t eat them, but when they are made correctly, they are really good. Definitely my go to place to get food from when in that area.

Jen is always on point. Never a question there. On another note, the food. I’ve been here many, MANY times. I’ve always gotten bar food or appetizers. Wings, tenders, bites, tots, nachos etc. Tonight my friend and I got sandwiches. He got the House burger and I got the Cubano. They came out at the same time. He decided to eat his on site and I decided to take mine to go. Before he dug in I got a good look at his burger. It looked amazing. He started in and three bites deep I couldn’t help myself. Between his reaction, and my preconceived beliefs based on it’s looks, I had to try it. He offered me a bite and I did not hesitate. This was arguably the best burger I’ve ever had. The bacon was perfect and the beef was also. Everything else was just singing backup here, but it worked in perfect harmony. Great beef, with great flavor. The rest were a perfect complement. A top 3 burger I’ve ever had. When I got home, I anxiously got to my Cubano. I feared I’d be underwhelmed after experiencing that house burger. I was NOT underwhelmed. This sandwich was unbelievable. It’s a classic Cuban with a couple subtle twists. Small but undeniable. The pork and ham were perfect, with spicy pickles, mustard, and a garlic aioli. The juices from the meat mixed with the sauces and were an absolute astonishing combination with the pickles and meats. 10/10. You definitely have to experience these two sandwiches. Hopefully every cook on every shift takes the same pride as our cook did, because you are in for a real treat is you get what we got! Enjoy.

Drinks were awesome and the atmosphère is freakin cool. Only there was vomit in the sink of the bathroom at 16:00h. Bathrooms definetly need a lil update but otherwise it’s a cool spot!

Played our first out of state gig here l, awhile back. Didn’t know what to expect in this college town, but we somehow managed to win them over, after they heard us do “I Want It That Way” but punk. I did get heckled by a 21 year old brat, but she lost all of her powers once it was clear the rest of the crowd loved us. Thanks again to Franklin House for letting us have fun and be weird on your stage!
