The food and coffee were delicious, and we got our order pretty quickly. The açaí bowl was very cold with frozen berries, which was a bit disappointing, though it might actually be nice on a hot summer day. The place is very cozy, and we’ll definitely come back!

Last year, I visited Kitanda and, although the food was incredibly good, the customer service was disappointing. Because of that experience, I hesitated, but I decided to return today to give it a second chance. I am very happy to say that the food remains outstanding, and the coffee absolutely exceptional. It is even better than before, and I am confident that something has changed in the roasting process. Congratulations to the team responsible for roasting the coffee. As for the service, it has improved tremendously. The customer service is now excellent, with attentive and kind staff. I would like to give special recognition to a team member named Issadora, who was extremely helpful and professional, though the entire team deserves praise as well. I highly recommend giving Kitanda another visit

Brazilian latte was fantastic! I do wish it was served a bit hotter however. The service was lacking- it was probably more to do with it being around the holidays and ordering through a kiosk instead of a human. They didn’t get our order right the first time, but were quick to correct it. LOVED the Bis wafers served with each coffee and the little mini market of Brazilian snacks.

I just want to make sure I am understanding this correctly. We get a number receipt to be called upon when our order is ready yet, The team is not calling out numbers. My food order is picked up by somebody else for an undisclosed amount of time. It is in their possession and when the staff member figures out that the wrong person Has my food order, For God knows how long. I have no idea what this guy has done to it my food Before I saw him open the box… And you want to still offer me food that has been in Different customers possession for an undisclosed amount of time and tampered with?? I threw my order away by the way. Great customer service.
Update!!! I came in the cafe today and the staff immediately remembered me and apologized and offered me the same item complementary and was very sincere! I understand mistakes happen and this is how you bounce back and make it right! Thank you Kitanda Redmond! ♥️

Their service has improved greatly from when I last reviewed in 2024, so I’m updating it. Friendly staff and the quality has been retained over the year. Their frozen cheese bread is very good – recommend you take a bag home with you! My favorite combo, a chicken cone and coffee are well made. I’ve tried other sandwiches too and found them all to be well made and delicious.

Jillian is always so sweet and attentive whenever I go into Kitanda, for this reason, this is my favorite Kitanda Location. She makes me the best smoothies and always welcomes me in so nicely. Thank you Jillian for making my experience so good everytime

This place would get an 5 star if it was not for the 30 minutes wait for our 2 Acai bowls, on a warm Tuesday evening, there was only two staff.
I saw previous reviews about it being under staffed I thought I shouldn’t be that bad, our estimated time was 10-15 minutes which is fine, but 30 minutes really affects the experience.
Our Acai bowls were done very deliciously prepared , well mine was. My husband’s Acai bowl did not have peanut butter as is supposed to.

Kitanda always delivers when it comes to açaí—organic, fresh, and downright delicious. The São Paulo bowl is our go-to, and we get it all the time. Checked out the Redmond Mall location for the first time, and it’s got a great vibe, but the service was a bit slower than we’re used to.

They have some winter specials on their menu. The Chococcino is divine. I highly recommend it. Hot cocoa was average – very slim in my opinion. Egg nog latte was decent. Service is quick. The coconut dessert was also tasty (bit sweeter for my liking though)
