Food was delicious! Super fresh (we came for lunch on Sunday, were the only people there so had to wait a while for everything to be made from scratch), punchy flavours, seemed authentic. £90 for 4 people. We got the fried fish with chillies and lime (the centrepiece), pad kra prawn (spicy), panang curry, papaya salad (the spiciest dish there, as it should be) and chicken/prawn salad. We have high spice tolerance and were definitely feeling the heat, it was great.
From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel welcome. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a relaxed feel that makes it perfect for both a casual meal and a special evening out.
The food here is absolutely incredible. My mum and I ordered the Pla Sam Rod – whole seabass with three-flavour sauce – and it was delicious. Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and moist on the inside, it practically melted in our mouth, mine was served with the best coconut rice, which complemented the dish beautifully.
My partner chose the Khaq Pad Sapparoo and didn’t leave a single bite. I’ll let you discover exactly what that is when you visit!
The portions were generous, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with care and fresh ingredients. The balance of flavours was outstanding — sweet, savoury, and just the right hint of spice.
The staff were attentive and pleasant throughout, checking in at just the right moments without being intrusive, and the food arrived promptly and hot, thank you Madu(Honey).
Excellent service, exceptional food, and a lovely atmosphere — we will definitely be returning and I highly recommend this place.

Situated a short walk from Stratford (and even closer to Maryland station), this is a nice enough looking establishment, which seems popular with locals.
Portion sizes were reasonable and the food tasted nice, but wasn’t outstanding.
Has a lot of seats as there is another area to sit downstairs, but points lost for the fact that upstairs you will get cold during winter as no inner door to prevent the cold coming in when people come in and go out, plus no sign of an accessible toilet. It also wasn’t very clean and the waiter misgendered my female friend based on her having short hair.
The food was excellent. The Thai curries were rich, aromatic, and beautifully balanced, with just the right level of spice. The pies were the standout – a creative fusion of Thai flavors wrapped in a comforting, flaky crust. Dishes like the green curry pie and massaman pie showed both originality and authenticity, making the menu feel unique and exciting. Fresh ingredients and thoughtful presentation elevated the experience further.
The drinks complemented the food well, with refreshing options like Thai iced tea and a selection of wines and beers that paired naturally with the bold flavors.
Service was warm, attentive, and genuine. The staff explained the dishes with enthusiasm and made thoughtful recommendations, ensuring that the visit felt personal and welcoming.
What made the visit special was the combination of authentic Thai flavors, creative fusion, and heartfelt hospitality. Dining at Tripti’s Thai Pie felt less like a routine meal and more like discovering a hidden gem in Stratford.
Overall, Tripti’s Thai Pie is a must‑visit in London – a place where Thai tradition meets playful innovation, offering delicious food, great drinks, and a cozy atmosphere.
