Review 46/365 Day Challenge

You know you can never go wrong w 85 Degrees.

Love their drinks especially. All majority good and their fruit green ice teas are so refreshing.

~ Milk Tea Iced tea is basic.
~ Sea Salt Iced Coffee is always a hit. Coffee isn’t strong at all.
~ Peach Green tea is good. Asked for 50% sweetness but it’s still pretty sweet.

Their pastry/bread are all usually yummy. Can’t go wrong a long w the prices and their drinks too! It’s really good.

The bakery had a simple design like how all of the 85 degrees bakery were.

We received a reusable tote for $ 1.99 with a $ 25 + purchase. It was a promotional for Mothers Day Holiday.

Located in same plaza as Pho Lovers. Lots of parking available.

TIP~ download the app to receive their monthly promo deals along earn points to redeem for freebie rewards.

1. The spicy sausage was comforting! It is definitely a good cheap eat!
2. The spot has fast casual vibes! The interior is open!
3. The staff was friendly and quick at checkout!
Note: This spot does not have their own restrooms for customers!

This was my first time coming to this location. I heard it has been open for more than 10 years, and it’s clean.

I’d prefer to see more variety in the bread selection. Some of the same breads are displayed across different trays, which makes it feel a bit repetitive.

Overall, it’s a reliable spot, but adding more unique options would make the experience even better.

Actually this is my local store and always going there to buy my breakfast & the birthday cake. All of the employees are amazing with the service but last Thursday, Dec 11,2025, I went there to buy the birthday cake for my son. I got the terrible experience with the new sales man with attitude, rude & doesn’t care the customer service. I asked my son’s favorite coffee flavored cake. He said it was out. Normally the staffs went inside and took the cake from the refrigerator. But If he said out I still fine with that and request him to wait for a while to ask my son what was his second choice. My son asked what kind of cakes left. The staff said look by myself and he wouldn’t explain what at the store have and called another customer and leave me alone. Imagine how he was so rude and neglected the customer. I don’t know how he got this job and how’s the cooperate trained him.

If you’ve ever been to Taiwan, you’ve probably heard of 85°C, the beloved bakery and café chain known for its affordable cakes and drinks. What’s cool is that here in Southern California, the brand has made some subtle adjustments to better suit locals’ tastes, just enough to feel familiar but still distinctly Taiwanese.

This particular location is tucked right behind OC Lau 2 in the Mall of Fortune where also with plenty of parking space.

Here’s what we tried:
• Mango Crème Brûlée $4.25
• Classic Tiramisu $4.25
• Coffee Crème Brûlée $4.25
• White Chocolate Strawberry Cup $4.85
• Tiger Boba Latte (Hot) $4.60

The cakes were tasty and not too sweet, just the way we all like them and at these prices, it’s hard to beat. An affordable place to hangout with friends or get chill with a cake and boba tea. Definitely planning to come back for more!

All the 85 degrees around town has been consistent and serve the same menu and pastries. They never disappoint. It’s refilled throughout the day until it’s sold out.

You can find sweet and savory breads as well as while or sliced cakes.

I am STILL DREAMING about these taro buns.

This place looks pretty unassuming, being in a strip mall and having a small storefront. But I was quickly amazed- they had so many delicious options and very affordable prices! Even cheaper than places on the east coast. Every pastry I got was so yummy and the taro buns are the best I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to try it again when I go back!

Great location!

Despite this place being relatively smaller, they have all the usual items at the same prices. they also have the same menu items for drinks where you can wait on the side. Their beautiful cakes can be found in the glass windows that are also on the side. the workers here are very nice and they have a decent amount of tables to sit at.

One thing that they can definitely work on is being more generous with the toppings in their drinks. The amount they give is nowhere near the amount they charge.

Overall, very good.

I had to write a review because what the heck is this sea salt cream skimping I could barely taste anything and i found that this place skimps on a lot of things as well on their bread toppings like fresh cream and fillings.. Other 85 c locations are definitely way more generous, I would not go to this one if you can help it

Avoid Hokkaido Bun, just air with a small scoop of filling. Mentioned to staff and they cut another bun open, and it was consistent with other buns.
