I started working around the area about 5 years ago and one day I wanted soup for lunch and I found this place. I went in and the entire restaurant was absolutely amazing the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The lunch deals are the best, a cup of soup of the day with half a sandwich is hard to beat. I started ordering some of their desserts (especially the carrot cake) and cookies and now I go back just because I’m craving them. My work place moved locations but I still drive over to get a great lunch. I’ve recommended this location to many friends and family and everyone has loved it.

What a great deli-restaurant! Great choices for sandwiches, etc, I got the hot pastrami which was excellent…loved that they had some cool soda choices, instead of always the same think, they had craft cola, root beer and cherry soda, plus all the others but I thought that was a great plus….very clean and food was great

Plenty of items to buy for any occasion. Wine, sauces, meats, cheese, etc. I had the lox and bagel really good except I wish it had capers in it. My friend got the pastrami sandwich and it was very good. The best part was the carrot cake cupcakes!! It was the best I’ve ever had. I will definitely be back to try other entrees and dessert!

They use to be in yhe Eastland Shopping Center for about 20 years then they moved to this location 9 years ago. The store looks good, clean & neat, the staff knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are good for the portions. Their soups change daily and for those who love a grilled cheese sandwich they have 3 types to choose from. This was my first time at this location. I will be back! 😉

The restaurant itself is very nice, food was good The broasted chicken, bread, and potatoes wedges were delicious and perfect. However, the visit was marred by two major issues the coleslaw was truly disgusting and disappointing it looked like your average high school cafeteria food , and unfortunately, one employee was exceptionally rude and direct. We placed an office pickup order yesterday a little before 12. We were told it would be ready in 20 minutes, so 12:20. My girlfriend got there at at 12:40 and the order still wasn’t ready.
It wasn’t ready until 1:00, so the order was 40 minutes late.
I originally ordered a Submarine but was told they had run out. They suggested their Grinder, which they claimed was their best sandwich. I’m not picky, especially over cold sandwiches, so I said it was fine to substitute. It was the width of a sheet of paper, so an 8-1/2″ sandwich.
When I opened the package, I was quite underwhelmed that that little thing cost $13.95 and was their “best”: about six to seven pieces of cold cuts, two slices of cheese, a little bit of shredded lettuce, some jalapeno and a few slices of red pepper.
In fact, no one at the office was impressed. We normally get Capri but were told to try Old World because “it was better.” We won’t be ordering from here again.

Best boasted chicken, not once in too many yrs have we been disappointed. Cole slaw best along with other sides like soups. Eggplant parm is another go to. Deli counter is my stoo after dinner for take home. Staff is can do at all times. Oh, very clean.

Had I known, I would have purchased something else, as I was dining with others that had to wait for me to finish my meal.

A truly hidden gem in Covina. They have a plethora of baked goods here. Their salads and entrees are super delicious here too. I enjoy all the flavors that come with my food and the vintage & ambient setting.
