Had a great group dinner with 10 others. They were able to accommodate us on short notice. Large menu with all the traditional Chinese food that Americans expect. It was very tasty. The server was very accommodating to giving us separate checks. The owners were also on site and super hospitable. Loved it.

First: the owner/host is amazing in (at least) three languages. My parents speak with him in all three. And as they leave he says (in Korean bc that’s their shared language) “be healthy, be happy, come back again soon.”

There is a branch of Chinese food that Koreans share in, and this is a restaurant that exists as that culinary bridge.

This place is known for its house noodles: esp the jjajiangmyun (noodles in black bean sauce otherwise known as the number one comfort food in Korea) and the jjambbong (noodles in seafood soup). We ordered both. And the sizzling rice soup (the broth is delicious) as well as my dad’s favorite: Mongolian Beef, bc the meat is very tender for chewing by elders.

The service is attentive and they remember the order of regulars.

And they even play popular Asian music that would be known to a certain generation.

Best of all, the prices feel like they belong in the 90’s. No complaints there. And the portions are generous.

We’ve been coming here for decades, since I was in high school. And time after time this place excels. Now my sister-in-law brings her friends from NJ/NY to Great Beijing, and they all agree it’s some of the best Chinese, especially Korean-Chinese dishes. It’s the restaurant my parents almost exclusively eats at when they eat out. They’ve held large dinners here with guests, and we love having impromptu family dinners here. During the Covid shut-downs we did take out but love eating in, with crispy fried dishes and lovely sauces.
My cousin who moved to the area from So.Cal. also thinks this place is better than the Korean Chinese restaurant of the same name in Garden Grove (it’s a place all Southern Californian Koreans know) from our childhood.
Every friend I bring to this restaurant, regardless of heritage, loves it. They have great lunch specials too.
The host has been the same gentleman for the past 2 decades and he’s friendly and enthusiastic and remembers us. The wait staff are also veterans and have stayed with the restaurant for ages. Quick, friendly service, food is slayed hot and delicious.

My go-tos:
Yangjiangpi (seafood and pork and julienned veggies tossed in a mustard sauce, great as a salad)
Kampoong shrimp
Sweet and sour pork or beef
Jjiajangmyeon
Jjamppong
Yusanseul (love the creamy sauce and scallops)
Shrimp fried rice

I’ve had the 5-spiced cold sliced beef and some of the white soupy noodles and they’re all very good. Highly recommend, year after year!

I used to love the food from this restaurant. I had been a customer here since 1990. Lately, however, the food has not been the same. The orange beef that I got yesterday looked like a whitish grayish wet flour. It was not caramelized, crispy or gooey like it always was before. I called the owner and he tried telling me that this is the way it is supposed to be , but I ordered orange beef from this place many times before and it is absolutely did not look or taste the same this time around. Of course the owner did not offer me an exchange or a refund. Also, the wanton soup was so salty that I had to delute it with 8 oz of water, and lettuce in wanton soup was literally dissolved looking like a melted green sponge. Almost like it was old and reheated many times during the day, before it was sold. I am very disappointed. I will never buy any food from here again. For this quality of food I can go to a different place down the street and pay a lot less

If you’re looking for authentic flavors and large portions that make your eyes pop, this place is a winner! The food tastes like it came straight from Grandma’s kitchen (if Grandma cooked professionally). Quick service, big servings, and prices that don’t break the bank. Come hungry, leave happy… and possibly with leftovers.

We were in our way to the airport and decided to get dinner. The service was fast, the person in the front (owner?) was so friendly and personable. The restaurant is really spacious and lovely. The biggest treat was finally eating our meal and it was the best Chinese food I’ve had. So delicious! The portions are very generous and they did not skimp on the shrimp. I highly recommend this place.

One of my favorite go to places for good Chinese food. Magnolia beef is a must try. Orange chicken is also good. They have their own parking lot which is a plus. It’s spacious inside. Not the best looking interior but the food is good. Clean environment. Plenty of seating. Good spot for dine in and takeout.

Great tasty food that cures the cravings! Service is friendly and welcoming. Hunan chicken has tender breast meat and includes pea pods, mushrooms, bamboo and baby corn in a spicy sauce. Egg roll wrappers are just right, on the thinner side. Sauteed four greens has a nice brown sauce and the veggies are cooked with a slight crunch. Many options on the menu with everyone’s favorites.

Came here with co-workers for lunch. We were greeted warmly, sat right away. Everything we ate was fabulous, and we were encouraged to dine there again. I did return for takeout – not knowing the name of the dish, I showed them a photo and they were able to point me in the right direction. Really a great restaurant and I’m glad I found it 🙂

Great Beijing Chinese Restaurant has Chinese Korean fusion food. It is dark inside and could use updates to improve the appearance and to brighten up the restaurant. This place makes its own hand pulled noodle and we came for the noodle soup dishes. We had the non spicy seafood noodle soup and spicy seafood noodle soup and there were generous amount of seafoods in these dishes. Soup was on the bland side but still tasty. We got home made kimchi and slices of radishes as side dishes. The waitress was very welcoming, attentive and friendly to us. She shared many insider private information with us that we couldn’t share here. This made a fun food experience for us.
