I recommend going to every single location. They are all fantastic and the food is unlike anywhere else you’re gonna go in the city and it’s tasty and consistent. The beverage selection is really fun. The service is always present and kind and even sometimes super funny and irreverent and the atmosphere every every location is consistently comfortable.

Arrive early!! This place is PACKED! Servers are rushing about to quickly serve the line outside the door. I got the steelhead hash and it was so good, I was practically in tears. Staff was friendly but super busy.
Despite how busy the spot is, we never felt rushed out of our seats or encouraged to leave. My friend and I were able to sit around and enjoy a good conversation. The atmosphere was cozy and fun. My only wish is that I tried their pastries. The dish I got was super filling, so I didn’t want to get anything else.

I got the Lefse – the Norwegian Potato Crepe. The eggs on top were cooked to perfection, and the crepe itself was soft and delicious. The portion size was a bit smaller than I was expecting, but made up for it in quality.
Overall if you’re looking for something different for your brunch I highly recommend this place

Warm and cozy, with warm lights and wood furnishings. Lovely staff. The lost eggs and swedish hash were great. Looking forward to coming back and trying more on the menu. Like the lefse!

Simple and delicious! The ebleskivers were delicious and warm, and definitely worth ordering, but the star of the show was definitely the beef shoulder and potatoes! The potato pancakes were delicious and the meat was tender. Also, if you order coffee, get something with the cardamom cream!

Great spot for breakfast. The food was delish. As others have said there’s an 18% gratuity automatically added and no table service… $60 for two people for breakfast is a bit steep!

Cute place with great service. The Aebleskiver Danish Pancakes looked better than they tasted (bland & dense). Thankfully the lemon curd and lingonberry jam helped to make them more enjoyable).

We ordered beef potato pancakes and danish pancakes. Both items were okay not, extraordinarily good. It was busy and took a long time to get food.

Lively Scandinavian-inspired café with multiple locations around the Portland area. we went early on a Saturday morning and it was already very busy, but we were able to get a table without a wait.
The pricing came to be a little more expensive than I expected, but the latte was tasty and the baked egg with steelhead was flavorful. I didn’t care for the sauce that came on the side, but enjoyed the other parts of the meal. I would go again next time I’m in Portland and try more of the menu.
