great find in a small town. not the biggest but cozy.
the “chunker” burger was absolutely delish. loved the mac + cheese and french onion soup too. we also got the chili but it was a lil sweet for our liking.

We came on a busy day, but everything still ran smooth. Drinks came out fast, the staff was cool and kept things moving, and the vibe was fun without feeling crazy. Really solid experience all around — would definitely come back.

Natalie the bar tender & Robert our waiter are genuine, inviting & welcoming. Thank you. We had delicious old fashions. The bar and atmosphere is beautiful. The crystal cluster candle holders were exquisite. We came in a few times for drinks and for dinner. The ruben and the broccoli soup was excellent. It was in the single digits when we went to the magical town of Jim Thorpe. They do have tables in the front court yard as well for those summer or warmer days. Thank you.

The wait can be long especially during leaf peeping season but it’s much better than the pub closer to the train station and some restaurants will close at 3:30 to reopen for dinner at 4 or 5; which can kind of suck for folks trying to find food after the 2PM train. That’s why this place comes in clutch. Fries, burgers and the Irish beef stew were amazing, just took a bit for the food to come out (but it was fresh and hot!). Beer and whiskey selection are all local within 100 miles and are on point. If you want a warm drink the hot toddy and mulled wine are perfect choices.

The place is certainly unique just like the town. It was very hot the day we came and the beautiful shade was welcome. The waitress was really kind and helpful. It was a nice respite after the swimming lake. The food was not extremely memorable but the environment was really interesting.

First and foremost the food was delicious and the entire atmosphere was cozy and inviting. My husband and I ate outside. Our waiter Robert was soooo good. He was attentive and funny and we were very lucky to have him help us. While we were there the employees had to deal with a few absolutely insane customers. The kind that everyone dreads running into a group of the most stereotypical Karens ever. All the staff handled the situation in a respectful manner. The woman was angry that they would not allow her to bring ice cream from a local cart into their establishment. Her and her friends were heinous. They cursed at workers, repeated blew vape smoke into the sitting area while loudly yelling and carrying on. Everyone remained so professional (not me I clapped when they finally gave up and walked away) Their loss was our gain. We got to really talk to the workers because we wanted to make sure they knew that regardless of those jerks they were so appreciated. I’ve already planned a return trip with myself and 11 other family members. I can’t wait to bring them to the restaurant. Thank you for such a memorable night and I think you should add that mushroom soup from Saturday September 13th to the menu permanently it was just the at good

Great dinner and atmosphere!
Food: delicious. Started with cheese steak egg rolls, which were very good. My wife had the steak salad; very good and filled with plenty of steak. I had the beef stew; also filled with a lot of beef and was delicious- came overtop of potatoes

Came her on a Monday night.There is a sign that says do not enter and wait to be seated. No one ever came outside to seat us. Another couple were waiting behind me and my bf. We decided to go in. The other couple followed behind and was just confused as we were. After a while the hostess noticed us and sat us down. We order our drinks and food. My bf got his drink, my drink didnt get made/served until our appetizer came out, which our server apologized and compd us for. The nachos we had ordered were bland . My drink had no flavor either and started to separate in the glass…I ordered fish n chips, my chips/fries were burnt. They did give me a new order of fries after I mentioned it to one of the servers. As for the fish, It was as if they fried it with literally no seasoning. I was so disappointed , the restaurant itself is cozy but the food has no flavor….
