I visited today on the recommendation of friends. I had a Cuban sandwich, a large cappuccino and a guava cheesecake, and paid $19 for it.
It’s easy to get to, there’s plenty of parking, and even on a holiday there were lots of people and more kept coming in.
The place is clean, smells nice, and has a beautiful display case. I think there’s no doubt about the freshness because you can see that people know this place and come here on purpose.
I was served fairly quickly and given a buzzer to wait for my order to be ready. When it beeped, I picked up the bag containing my order, which was packed in disposable tableware.
I liked the food. There were no unnecessary spices, cloying flavours or anything else. The coffee was delicious with an amaretto flavour, and you could also choose a vanilla flavour.

A piece of Puerto Rico! went here for breakfast and they did not disappoint! My tastebuds took me back to all of my childhood memories of Puerto Rican classics! Everything is so freshly made to perfection their daily fresh baked bread “pan sobao” & “Pan de agua” is to die for the sandwiches are constructed beautifully with the right amount of ingredients and heated to perfection! My daughter and I had two breakfast sandwiches and some Puerto Rican oatmeal that took me back to the school lunch days. The location has plenty of parking and the bakery itself is super clean inviting and the staff is so friendly. The food came out very quickly. I really hope they consider opening up another one in downtown Tampa or South Tampa closer to me.

We made a 30 minute side trip off of i-75 on the way home to the panhandle to get some food from here.

It was well worth the drive!

We got a dozen empanadas To Go beef and chicken they look delicious.

We ordered a Cuban and Viejo San Juan delicious tasty perfectly cooked!

Ordered 4 guava and cheese pastries. They gave us extra pastries due to selling out on the guava pastries before they packed our order. So the family got to have additional pastries!

Service was quick and efficient
People were nice and welcoming
The environment was clean
The music was awesome

We visited this amazing bakery in Tampa and absolutely loved it! We ordered the Jibarito, just a heads up, it’s not served on plantains (it is a bakery, after all), but on your choice of pan de agua or pan sobao. We also had the Cuban sandwich, both were huge, flavorful, and satisfying.

The alcapurria was delicious and very authentic—crispy on the outside, savory and well-seasoned on the inside. We also enjoyed a café con leche, which was smooth and comforting, just the way it should be but be careful it’s very very very hot! lol

For pastries, we tried the quesito de guayaba and a cheese quesito. The quesitos were light, flaky, and amazingly good, the guava filling was perfectly sweet and just melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We also tried the donuts and their fresh pan sobao, which instantly took me back to my grandma’s house. So nostalgic and comforting!

The bakery is very clean, with super friendly service. It was such a treat to pick up goodies to take home. Even the bathroom was spotless, with hilarious signs that gave us a good laugh.

We’ll definitely be back!

Oh my goodness this place is amazing. The pastries are awesome. If I think they’re from Puerto Rico or some kind of Spanish origin but they have all kinds of Spanish bakery stuff they even have a little cafe there great coffee. I have to stay away from it sometimes because it can get a little fattening lol Great place

I felt I was home in PR. Tripleta was great. Alcapurria, a little bit over salt but great. Great service and very clean! You must go!

It was my first time here, I would definitely want to return when I’m back in the area. Everything in the display case looked so delectable, I wanted to try it all! I got a few pastries to go and shared them with some friends. We all thought everything was delicious!
The Guave Cheese Mallorca is really good, I definitely recommend. The pastry is sweet, light, and fluffy. The guava and cheese also add a sweet & savory component.
Service was fast and great, the young lady at the counter was really sweet. I hope to come back and try more things, like their Cuban sandwich!

Hello friends, I had the pleasure of eating at this establishment. Is located inside a plaza with plenty of parking.
However, it is extremely small to eat inside and the waiting time can be long including long lines out the door.
What makes this place unique is that the bread and pastries are made locally onsite which is a plus on my book.
Prices are decent. Bread is good and so are the pastries.
I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich and a Cuban sandwich. Now when I got my egg and cheese it was poorly made with a overload of ham in it and barely no egg. My wife had the Cuban sandwich and she said it was ok.
This is a comfort food restaurant. So once in a while is okay to eat here. Would I come back and try it again and see if the experience is different? Yes I would.

Update:
I revisited the establishment, not much has changed since I visited. Except this time around the service we received was much better and what we ordered was correct. However, prices did increase which is understandable due to the economy.

We wanted to try Puerto Rican food and this place didn’t disappoint. We had bacon egg and cheese on sweet bread and ham & cheese on sweet bread as well. We also tried tres de leche cake and it was phenomenal.

I had to order an espresso when I saw that they are using Rancilio machine and it was delicious.
