GREAT PLACE!!!! My sister and I have been coming here for a while and DEFINITELY needed to finally leave a rating. From walking in, to the hibachi “show,” to the food itself, is simply amazing. Parking was easy, seating was quick, and our server was on top of everything. Price is reasonable for the large portions of food you get. Tons of veggies, rice, and their DELICIOUS house yum yum sauce. They have a huge Japanese menu, from tempura, sushi, dumplings, and SO MUCH MORE, so you have a lot of options! You gotta try the snapper—you can’t go wrong!! A must-go destination!! A++++

Kanji has always been our local go to Japanese steakhouse. I’ve been to multiple steakhouses and this location has the best Yum yum and ginger sauce is my opinion. We usually sit at the hibachi tables but this time we sat at the bar. We ordered some nigiri, sashimi, maki, and uramaki. Each style had a great flavor and their own special texture. It was absolutely satisfying. We also usually get hot sake but this time around we ordered the peach sake. The peach sake was carbonated and a delight to drink. Our waitress was quick to respond and took very good care of us. I highly recommend this Japanese steakhouse.

I ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi. It came with a small basic salad. The ginger dressing was really tasty. The hibachi was hot and delicious. I didn’t wait very long for my food and they were moderately busy. The staff were nice and tentative. The price was cheap enough and the portion of hibachi was large. I could only eat about half of my dish and took the rest home. I don’t have any complaints about this restaurant. I was happy and satisfied with my experience. I would visit here again.

Normally love this place but this experience really ruined that we had reservations for the private party room we got there and they sat the table beside us at the same time which was no big deal since it was a separate table the problem began when the table beside us had there drinks and orders taken immediately while we sat there for 5-10 minutes without having our drinks taken we finally had to ask someone if we were able to put our drink order in at least the drinks took another 5-10 minutes all while the table beside already had the food out we finally got our drinks and were able to order when the one hostess came back while on the phone and sat other people at the table normally it would be no big deal but we had revered the table and were waiting on the rest of our party to come we said something and then another hostess came back while the other costumes were still sitting at the table and said if we wanted to reserve the table we needed to book later and not when they were busy she had a attitude the whole time and acted as if we had not sat there for close to 30 minutes without even having one person say anything to us we ended up just paying for our drinks and leaving they then ended up have an attitude about us leaving over all this was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner with family. Over all very disappointed with how things were handled regarding everything

Wow wow wow. I loved everything about this place. It was clean and the food was excellent. The service was really special and our server, Ida, was someone I would request again. This is my fifth hibachi including one in DC that was supposed to be one of the best in the county and I really liked this one better. The food was better than the other four and I liked those others and would go back to them but the value here was amazing. Best of the five and I will drive the hour and 20 to eat here again (but mainly to come see my grandkids ha!)

Oh my goodness.. this is such terrific food. The crispy calamari was spectacular, as was the scallop hibachi. There is such a happy atmosphere sitting around the hibachi while the chef cooks. I love this place and will be back soon!!
