The food we came for (ribs) they were out of, which was disappointing but understandable. The food we did order was the Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger and the Bourbon Street Sirloin.
The sirloin was over cooked, ordered medium rare and got well done. The sides were unseasoned and not what was advertised. The Burger, spot on.
Our waiter Yusif, listened to us, apologized and got the kitchen manager. She (no name) came out with attitude and no introduction. She told us we must have ordered wrong as there was nothing wrong with the food, she felt it was acceptable. She did offer to take it off the bill, but the attitude was unnecessary.
North Conway Applebee’s fails us for a third time. There won’t be a return visit for us.
Side note, Yusif was awesome and did a great job. Best part of the meal
Edit: 12/28/25: It’s been almost 3 days since I posted this review. The owner responded to my original review and provided a link for me to discuss my issue further. The link provided was a broken link and doesn’t help. Due to this I docked a star from my rating of service.

The food and drinks were great. Our server was wonderful. I thought it was a great experience until I used the women’s room before we went to leave. The continuer for the disposal of used feminine products was dirty, sticky, crusty, had no bag in it, and was still being used. It was off putting to have to open it with my tube of hand cream from my purse to avoid touching the sticky lid only to find no liner inside so I didn’t want to dispose of my products in there. (Though others didn’t seem to mind)
I’m glad I saw this at the end of my dining experience, because had I seen this sooner I would have lost my appetite. How exactly does one empty these in a sanitary manner with no bag inside? Just reach in with a gloved hand and grab used tampons and pads? Gross.

The chicken was excellent, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The atmosphere here is warm and welcoming, and the service far exceeded my expectations. The entire team shows genuine care and professionalism, creating a wonderful dining experience.
What a fantastic place to come with family or simply to enjoy a meal for yourself. Highly recommended!

Bartender was rude when I asked for a drink that was “too fancy” according to him. Instead I ordered a mango margarita and got a standard margarita. Just poured me half a glass and left the rest for me to pour. Not attentive at all. It was my birthday weekend and I felt like crap being brushed off.
The place was a bit slow for a Friday night and the staff was loud at a table behind me, goofing around and on their phones. Nobody bothered to even say bye as I was leaving.
Would not recommend.

We tried three other places before we ended up at Applebee’s. The other is either have their doors locked and wouldn’t let us in, didn’t have any water, or we’re out of a bunch of food and I have Celiac so I’m looking on what I can have. They were very accommodating and the waitress was wonderful.

I had such an incredible experience at Applebee’s thanks to Jasmine and William! From the moment we walked in, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Their attention to detail, friendly personalities, and genuine care truly stood out. It’s rare to see a team work so seamlessly together — they anticipated everything we needed before we even had to ask.
The food was great, but it was their amazing service that made the night special. You can tell they take pride in what they do and genuinely care about their guests. Jamie and William turned what could’ve been just a regular dinner into a memorable experience.
Applebee’s is lucky to have them — we’ll definitely be coming back because of their exceptional hospitality!

My wife and I took our grandson for his first ever Applebee’s experience on Black Friday. It was overly crowded and the manager had to deal with a large crowd waiting for available seating. Once we got seated our service and meal was fantastic. Our waitresses was pleasant and the food was phenomenal. Above all the value for the food quality was outstanding compared to what other restaurants charge now. The host/manager was a genuine clown. He definitely had a tough day at the office. He is quite a character. He could probably use a vacation after that day.

The food was great as always, but the staff was exceptional! William the manager, was so kind and thoughtful! I’m from Virginia and I had family from Brazil visiting and they felt home with such a great treatment! Courtney was our server, she was the best, answering our questions and making recommendations, and at the end she even was giving us advice on things to do in town!
