My sister and I stopped in today for a small lunch after touring St. Louis cemetery No. 1. We loved it! The atmosphere was very relaxing and a bit refined. Our waiter was so polite and professional. We never had to ask for water refills or wait too long. The paintings on the wall really bring some life to the place, and it is just really nicely decorated overall.

I ordered the Sangria with the fruit and berries side plate. Both were delicious. My sister ordered the fried oyster salad, which she liked and would order again. The chanterelle mushrooms were a nice touch, and the buttermilk dressing was tasty. Would definitely like to come again for dinner because the menu looks great!

Close to 30 dollars for a double of Tellabordo. That’s like 4 meals for us. So so so expensive. The guy working that night (the 25th) rushed us out as well 30 minutes before closing and was so I necessarily rude. Thew my overly expensive martini away and everything. I would not recommend. There are many other spots to stop around bourbon, this is not the one. I don’t even leave reviews often, this was just that bad.

Had a wonderful dining experience tonight. Atmosphere was quiet and intimate. Our server was friendly and spot on. I had their fried oyster salad; oysters were delicious and salad fresh, with chunks of blue cheese! Shared some sides; truffled fries were perfectly seasoned and served on parchment paper in a cone holder. The truffled mac & cheese made with cavatappi noodles was decadent.

My wife and I Decided to take a Trip to New Orleans and Booked at the Maison Dupuy Hotel! We knew they had a Bistreaux there and decided to give it a try! 1st off, the Po-Boy that we had for a late lunch was beyond delicious! After touring some of the Quarter we went back for the Blues Band and ate some more! Smash Burger and Boudin Eggrolls! A must try! Our Server / Bartender Joshua was absolutely amazing and would definitely recommend coming in for a drink and bite!

Stopped in the bar, power off boutique hotel, on a Friday night when I saw a jazz combo playing and spent the rest of the evening relaxing there after a long work day. It’s off on the edge of the tourist area so much quieter than the overwhelmingly loud bourbon street.
It was a lovely spot to sit and relax and the patrons were probably mostly hotel guests. It wasn’t crowded or loud or dark.
The bartender was kind and attentive. He was happy to chat and talk about the area and sent people outside to watch when a second line procession went by.
The music was amazing. We could chat at a mostly normal volume and still listen with friendly banter going back and forth. Loved it!

Stayed at the Maison Dupuy hotel during my time in New Orleans; this place was very convenient and had great drinks. Not to mention the shrimp and grits were amazing.

What a horrible experience with this bartender. He was clearly stressed from a bad day during the Jazz Festival. I wanted a shot of tequila over ice. He said they don’t do shots at closing. They he proceeded to give the guy next to me a shot of whiskey on the rocks. And then gave another patron three doubles on the rocks. I went back and asked him why he would not give me a tequila on the rocks. He went off on me about how rude Jazz Fest customers are and how he was hanging on a thread because he was so stressed out. Ok. Note to Managers – this guy needs help. Yes he is greedy and wants all the tips from a $3000 night. But don’t let him screw up the reputation of the bar. Cuz I come to NOLA a lot and I will never come back to this bar. Give your bar tenders a bar back so customers don’t have to deal with stressed out employees like this guy. You will be better off in the long term.

Amazing food. Had the duck. This place is classier and higher quality than many surrounding restaurants. Worth the price.
