We had a fantastic meal here. The mediterranean tapas menu is full of vibrant, flavorful dishes, and the open kitchen concept adds great energy to the space. With both indoor and outdoor seating, it’s an inviting atmosphere whether you’re planning a date night or a fun evening out with friends.

Every plate was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. Our favorites were the mezze spread, grilled prawns, and the roasted vegetables over hummus – all fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and perfect for sharing!

The bar staff was attentive, warm, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Bonus: it’s just steps from the streetcar, making it an easy and fun stop while exploring the city.

A slightly upper scale atmosphere spot in the crossroads.

The place was slammed when we stopped by on a first Friday, it might be advisable to get a reservation.

The Lebanese Hummus was tasty, it was topped in an unusual way with a tomato sauce. Which was a new approach to me, but it worked.

The Marinated Olives were brought out in a relatively large ramekin with a second for the pits, an assortment of 4 or 5 different types of olives and marinated lemon peel. An assortment of olives, kalamata, some tiny little ones, a bright green Greek olive and one or two more. There was one I wasn’t crazy about, but mostly tasty and interesting to try.

Mezze Spreads, we got the spreads without the Beet Hummus. The Baba Ghanoush was pleasant, but without the signature smokey flavor and it was extra creamy with almost a hummus like flavor and texture instead of eggplant. The carrot hummus was pleasant, no actual noticeable carrot flavor. The pita was nice light and fluffy and we had enough.

The Greek salad was very fresh, firm tomatoes, nice crunchy cucumber, crisp fresh romaine. A little small and basic for the price. We ordered it without the cheese, the kalamatas were a pleasant compliment giving most of its flavor. The dressing, seemed to have almost no flavor, where a Greek salad normally has a delicious strong flavor, which left it a bit lacking. Unless they normally rely entirely on the cheese for it’s flavor …

The sauteed mushrooms were nice. A little chewy and soft for my personal preference with mushrooms, but the SO liked them a lot. It was a fair portion.

They were very accommodating and friendly. They went out of their way and took good care of us.

The atmosphere was tasteful, modern, nicely lit with plenty of light while still being soft. The type of place that has pass throughs decorated with assorted wines.

Okay! Hold on! This is the best food in Kansas City specially when you are from Europe like me and missing good quality food with bomb or different not boring flavors! Other Mediterranean restaurants can bow down to what is in the menu here!! Also almost packed in the Wednesday evening speak for itself! Heaven in my mouth! I will be coming back!

The food here is always excellent!! Usually service too so maybe this is an exception for sitting at the bar? We went yesterday and was sat at the bar and had been sooooooo minimally unattended to. We were almost done with our meal when I finally get a chance to call on loudly to our server to get his attention because man, I just wanted to wipe my hands on something. We ate our meals with our hands and no personal plates either because we weren’t given any table settings, and again, he was nowhere to be found or looked impossibly ‘cannot be bothered’ when he swiftly appeared to go do something else. The best part was when we had to ask for our bill, he smiled big and then handed us a very clearly overcharged tab. So we had to go wait for him again to correct it. In my opinion, great service means not having the diners to have to ask you. Not only did we have to ask a few times, it felt like it was a huge favor. Made the dining experience so wet towel-y. Anyway, I mentioned this kindly to the maitre d on our way out hoping it would be passed along. I would hate for Extra Virgin to have this kind of service standard.

I’ve lived downtown for a few months and this has been “on the list” since I saw it. Was told on separate occasions that it’s among the best of the best in KC so I mean… gotta try it out!

Beautiful weather to sit outside and enjoy and boy oh boy did we enjoy. Malorie (forgive me if I spelled incorrectly) kindly and helpfully guided us through different options and suggestions.

The asparagus bisque started the show with not just a bang but an absolute explosion. Creamy, flavorful, just rich enough without feeling heavy. Possibly my favorite thing. The ricotta is so fresh it felt made to order. No joke it’s so light you forget you’re eating cheese.

Now these little puff pastries packed full of goat cheese and carmelized onion are… divine. Truly created in some other world. I tried the bone marrow because I’m always about the new experience and it’s not something I’d experienced before. I recommend loading it up onto the accompanying bread and tasting it altogether. It’s very rich, I loved it, but if you’re not into that kind of fatty texture you may not appreciate it. The shishito peppers were perfect, but gotta say as a standalone compared to the cloud-parting goodness next to it on the table it wasn’t my personal favorite. Excellent, don’t get me wrong, but everything else just being SO GOOD left me forgetting I even ordered them.

Not commenting on the shellfish cause that was for the wife, I’m allergic and didn’t try them. Her comments on the mussels though were not just they’re good, but she’d order it again based on the broth alone. Sounds like a W to me.

Absolute 10/10 without question. This is now easily one of my favorite spots, possibly with only the Antler Room just above on a personal level.

Thank you all so much, we’ll be back!

Eahh… I found this spot to be overpriced for lunch. The food was good not great. The cocktails were very good. Our server was really nice and helpful regarding our choices. Roasted feta was really nice while it was hot ,so eat it fast! Once it cooled it became very hard. The cucumber salad was alright. I mean it’s a $12 cucumber I expected something more special. Cucumbers are 2 for $3 at the grocery so the price was exorbitant. Not thinking I will be back but I can’t say never ‍♀️

We didn’t have reservations for Friday night so we popped in and snagged a few seat at the bar. The bartenders were lovely, efficient and attentive. I ended up not liking a drink I ordered (raspberry and ice cream? Not their fault, just not what I expected) and they were quick to create something else for me instead. The food was incredible, nothing missed except I wish the chickpea fries were more crispy. The roasted cauliflower was my absolute FAVORITE of the evening, the pea hummus is genius and by far one of my favorite parts of the meal. ❤️

A great spot for small plates! My favorite was from the Weekend Specials, a creamy Shawarma Shrimp Toast with super crunchy bread. The Lamb Kebab had tasty seasoning. The Woodfired Shrimp were juicy but otherwise average. I felt impartial to the Chickpea Fries and Halved Fudgy Eggs. The Grilled Octopus and the flatbread with the Roasted Feta were burnt, leaving a bitter taste. For dessert, the Churros were fluffy and paired with rich dark chocolate dip. All the dishes came out hot. The waitress was really friendly. The location is good, being next to the KC Streetcar. If you can come during Happy Hour, the prices are more friendly.

Yep. Consistent. Great happy hour with nice variety of offerings. I prefer sitting at the bar and that team has been around – solid.

I find this shrimp with tomatoes dish in cast iron full of flavor. Humus trio is expected. Grilled bread & ricotta is lovely though I suspect super high calories. Fattoush salad I enjoy very much.

I equally steer super clear of the trout dish – can’t explain but the one hard never again on their menu for me.

The patio is what it is for the location. I am an outdoor gal so I will sit out there, but you’re really just sitting right next to the street so it’s not a really nice environment other than warmer air, with some smog, a few loud cars, and interesting dog walking people on occasion. They’ve dressed up just as much as they can so again it’s fine. It just is what it is.
