Food was fabulous! However theybdo not have crawfish or a boil. And Mardi Gras is upon us. But the food was awesome. Had the chicken and sausage gumbo, Mamou Dip and Lafayette platter.

This restaurant delivered with great attentive service. Our server was on point. The food was good, but just not great flavor. If you gonna name your restaurant after the historical French Quarters, you gotta bring on the flavor of NOLA!! But my husband LOVED the crab cakes!! The atmosphere/ambiance was ok. The restaurant could use an update to its decorum.

Been coming here for years.
Atmosphere: welcoming in both the bar and the restaurant
Food: always spot on. We had both brunch and lunch items today and everything was well flavored.
Price: the portion sizes are large and the price is not bad. You can find items cheap or expensive. Hint, the bar has happy hours for some food items.
Service: everyone is always so nice there
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant.

First time trying this place. We wanted something different and let me tell you we were surprised at how good the food is here. To start with, this place has plenty of seating and a small little patio. There was no wait for dinner time. We started with boudin balls as appetizers, and they were so flavorful and delicious. My entree was grilled shrimp, rice, and veggies. My husband ordered the New Orleans pasta with chicken. Both of our meals were very generous in portion and full of flavor. Food was fairly priced. They offer crawfish and boil shrimp as well. They have happy hour with drink specials. This time, I ordered a frozen margarita, which I enjoyed. Our server was really attentive. We enjoyed our visit, and we will come back to try something different. I recommend it.

This is sad cause up till today I loved this place I celebrated my birthday here. but I will not come back. The food is generally always great. For months I have been telling all my friends to check this place out. But now I will include this as why maybe you shouldn’t come here. I don’t think this has to do with the owner who has always been kind or our waiter who has always been kind but this was Trish the “manager” just “randomly” walks up to me and asks me put on a jacket to cover myself up I was wearing a sleeved t-shirt with no bra whoops I went to the gym grow up seriously not the way you address paying customers and it’s none of your business how people dress sorry I didn’t know there was a strict dress code posted anywhere, or that you were the Faccist fashion police.

The food and service were absolutely stellar. Brandy is an awesome server. She recommended the Salmon with Potatoes Felix and vegetables. Everything was well seasoned and very fresh. It also included garlic bread. I couldn’t stop eating. I planned to take some home, but I finished the whole plate. I ordered my salmon blackened and it was perfectly cooked and a good size portion. I was celebrating my birthday a little early with my friend and my daughter. My friend mentioned my upcoming birthday to Brandy. She was so sweet! She included complimentary chocolate mousse dessert to go. I will definitely come back again.

Service was great… same as the atmosphere. The food was mid. It was good, but definitely could be better. Also ordered crawfish to share with the table… there was this very strong flavor that stood out to me, so strong it made my tongue tingle a bit. It’s almost as if they used the liquid crawfish boil (not a problem), but wayyy too much of it, considering its a concentrate… I legit could not eat more than one!!! And I couldn’t get my money back, so I had to go home, rinse them really good, and prepare my own asian style-cajun/garlic butter sauce to soak them in for a little bit.

This is an excellent French Cajun restaurant for most of us “regular folks” in middle or upper middle class income bracket. It’s a nice small step above a standard big chain restaurant, but it won’t break your bank. It’s not super fancy, but it’s better than most places. The food is great, the place is clean, and the price while not cheap, is still reasonable. I do wish they gave some complimentary starters, it’s a minor gripe, but I suppose they are trying to be slightly fancier that way. The service was nice and the atmosphere pleasant enough. The other patrons didn’t do anything gross or weird to make me wonder why I came here. This is a great place to celebrate any type of special occasion. Recommended!

This was mine and my husband’s first time to visit the French Quarter Cajun Seafood Restaurant.
We have driven by so many times.
We finally decided to give them a try.
We were pleasantly surprised.
We started out with side salads that were very fresh, cold and crispy. No limp or wilted lettuce here.
My husband had the Stuffed Catfish Vermillion. He loved every bit of it. I tasted it and it was delicious.
I had the Cajun Executioner but asked to have it grilled. It was scrumptious! So flaky and tender and not over seasoned like so many other restaurants.
We shared the bread pudding, which was a regret and a huge mistake.
I wish we would have ordered one for each of us. Wow! It’s was amazing.
Compliments to the Chef.
Kudos to the owners for a nice clean restaurant with a great atmosphere and delicious food.
Diana made our drinks.
We had Meltdown Margaritas.
She did a great job.
She was very accommodating and pleasant, answering all of our questions.
I messed up the presentation on the picture with the grilled Catfish by mixing the red beans and rice. I couldn’t help myself, I had to dig in.
(Apologies to the Chef for destroying your work of art.)
You’ll definitely be seeing us again.
