Searched “Maps” for an Italian food restaurant near Lake Elsinore and stumbled upon ‘Angelos’ Took the family for our first visit and even before being seated was warmly welcomed and greeted by “The Man” himself, Angelo! Food was amazingly fresh and well balanced flavor wise. Had a number of menu items, all consistent in flavor and fresh essness. Cannoli was amazing desert!

We had our own private room, the food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. The atmosphere was welcoming, comfortable, and ideal for hosting a group. Most impressive was the attentiveness of the staff — accommodating, professional, and genuinely invested in making our event seamless.

Pizza was outstanding but the arancini is the superstar! The arancini is perfectly cooked, super crispy and crunchy delicious little heavnly balls of rice and cheese, you must try them. The 1985 pizza with meatballs, pepperoni and sausage, was delicious. The lasagna was ok, I was more impressed with the pizza. Great service, very friendly staff. I will definitely visit again.

We’ve heard about this place for a while but finally made it in today! Oh my goodness, am I happy we did! Everything is so flavorful and you can tell their food is made with love. The sauce is perfection ! And when I tell you they I can taste the quality of the cheese in the pizza, I’m not joking! & the dough is fluffy but crispy .. So amazing! I thought it was a random employee coming to check how everything was and I was surprised to know it’s the owner. He had such a sweet & friendly vibe about him like he genuinely lives for his customers joy.. thank you!

Order a little variety and loved it! Everything was house made and REAL ingredients!!!!!!!! They have a variety of Italian breads that you won’t find at a regular grocery store! Their cheese and meats and marinated veggies are all beautiful! 10/10 braised short ribs were perfection in itself!

This visit was not as great as past visits. It has been at least a year since our last visit. Always good, friendly service when we go. Menu has not changed at all in the past couple years but they always have specials. The appetizers were delicious. The steak was not done as requested. The calzone was crispy and flavorful but the end pieces only had cheese. It seems all the spinach and olives were only in the middle. The cannolis were not crisp which was really disappointing as they usually are delicious. Great strong cocktails! Really uncomfortable chairs at the tables.

This place was great ! I got the special steak dinner and it was the best steak I have ever had in my life. I will definitely becoming back here. My baby loved her pizza and it was a huge portion for being $9. Our service was fantastic checked on waters filled extra plates and napkins for the baby with out having to ask.

Last night my wife and I tried the Alaska halibut. I should have asked more questions but I went for it and regretted it, $50 and rubbery and not flavorful and sweet for some reason. Should have stayed with pizza :/ cause although this dish looked good, it wasn’t.

First time trying Angelo’s. The young lady who helped me out was wonderful. My problem this evening is the quality of food for the price I paid. When handed the pizza I felt right away the box was very cold. Knowing that I told my self I’ll just heat it up when I get home. I didn’t want to wait for a different pizza. I have heated it up at home before. We ordered the chicken Caesar salad. I’ve never been so sad to not eat a salad. Our chicken wasn’t cooked all the way. Lots of pink and it is extremely rubbery. Wasn’t even sliced up for the salad. We had to cut it the best we could. Overall very disappointing evening with our dinner and we out $50. I wanted to like it Angelo. I did.

This is one of our favorite places. The welcome is always warm, the service attentive, and the food consistently excellent. We often order the pizzas—both cauliflower crust and traditional—and they’re equally delicious, loaded with fresh, high-quality toppings and lots of variety. The wine list is thoughtfully curated as well.
The handmade pasta deserves special mention—absolutely delicious. Their house-made sausages and meatballs are also standouts. And if you love Italian meats and cheeses, be sure to check out their deli selection!
