This place may have received a few unfavorable reviews but that wasn’t my experience here. Came there near closing time though so I can’t comment on how the service is at busier times. The food and the service was decent to say it was so late.

We’ve been here a couple of times and we usually have the 16oz ribeye steak with wild rice and the garlic mashed potatoes and they haven’t disappointed us. The steak is tasty and very juicy. I’ve also had the Mexican martini which I highly recommend it has the perfect blends of flavors and just the right amount of tequila. I decided to try out the cheese cake which was delicious. The service has always been good as well.

Had a good dinner, nice atmosphere. Had a generous salad and the chicken fried chicken was fantastic. Unfortunately the mashed potatoes on my plate were cold when it got to me and I couldn’t get the waitresses attention in time to correct it. Not a perfect experience but otherwise I really good meal and the chicken fried chicken was so good it made up for it.

Ive seen this place plenty of times passing through to see family so today I decided to stop food was great beside the hair that was in my salad and when asked for a replacement not sure if they thought I wouldn’t notice they just scraped the hair side off then brought my salad back. As a waiter to wear a hair tie on her arm and service people is a no no . Then through out the whole time we we’re there she continued to put her hands through her hair . For a person who worked in the food industry for 15 years I know that is unhealthy bacteria and sweat build up around that hair tie . Other than that food is very tasty

DO NOT EAT HERE! service is terrible, theyre super rude and staff looks like they hate their jobs so they take it out on customers. Food gave my whole family diarrhea, and when i asked for extra silverware they basically told me no. we asked for a dessert menu and the manager came out to literally discourage us from trying their dessert, but in a way that felt like “please get out already”. theyre like 1 of the 3 restaurants in the town so i understand that they dont really have to care because people dont have a choice, but i dont really want to come to this town again just based off this place as my welcome…

We were passing through Kenedy on our way home to Corpus. We were hungry and saw a lot of cars at 5-D, which is always a good sign, so we stopped. We are so glad we did. The service from Alexis was fantastic. She was very personable and attentive. The stuffed flounder was very delicious and my husband had the best Patty Melt we have ever had. We will stop here again and might even make a special trip to Kenedy just to eat here. Thank you 5-D and Alexis, we had a really enjoyable experience.

We had some delicious food today for lunch. The Texan big burger juicy and delicious, fried catfish was delicate and yummy, and the patty melt was fantastic. Have to give mention to the giant stuffed baked potato, wowzzers!! Fir an app we shared the loaded cheese fries. Our waitress was super friendly too.

It was a 5-star restaurant with 5-star service. Only reason I bump it down to 4 is because I was seated close to the doors and every time they were opened it smelled bad like cigarette smoke. Overall it was really nice though. Food was better than expected, even had leftovers! Very nice staff and not too long a wait. Would go again!

So as many times as I have been to Kenedy to visit my dad and family, I never knew this place even existed glad to have stumbled upon it. So we started with some Alligator nuggets and they were delicious we both ordered a 10 oz flamed grilled ribeye medium well, with a grilled asparagus and a house salad for our sides. Dad had blue cheese dressing and I had a delicious raspberry vinaigrette dressing . I will say I was not impressed at first look with the steak seeing how the ate was close to 30 bucks I was expecting to see a nicer looking steak but honestly the steak was cooked almost perfectly and the flavoring wasn’t bad or I would of needed steak sauce . Always a plus when I don’t The waitress was informative of the menu….and gave our table just enough attention. Oh and the dessert warm pecan pie with a scoop of vanilla icecream omg sooo good sooo sweet definitely well be back to try something new.
