Stick with the pizza. Great location, great pizza, great service. But the “More” part is a little less impressive.
Ordered the 12” cheesesteak sandwich. Flavor and ingredients on point but portion size was seriously lacking. Sandwich was less than half full of meat & cheese. (See photo) For $12+ it should have been much more. Still a great place, but missed the mark on this visit.

Outstanding experience.
I was greeted with a smile upon arrival.
The girl at the counter was very kind. It was my first visit. She was even cleaning tables later while I was enjoying my food. I ran into the owner and he shared the story of where him and his family began their original location.
It’s amazing to see a place that is so modern from the inside yet makes you feel as though you are at home. The lighting is perfect. They even have a mural on the wall that tells you about the family and a cross on the wall from the holy land itself.
I even saw a young girl helping an elderly man with such grace to take his pizza to go. Too bad he was an Aggie fan but god bless em anyways.
I got the turkey and provolone sandwich and on my brother, it was the best turkey sandwich I ever had. You don’t even have to tell me and I know that they get their bread from a bakery or make it in house. The turkey was fresh as well as the provolone. I felt like I was in New York at a famous pizza parlor. In good old Hockley Texas. This place is absolute gem.
I had a chance to try the cheese pizza and good lord. Fantastic. Fresh out the oven.
Amazing team.
The floors were clean.
Not an unhappy customer to be seen.
Runs like a well oiled machine.
My visit was oh so pleasant
Like a nice Christmas present

We ordered a Pizza & Salad. Salad was fresh, and had Parmesan cheese strips, not the cheep plastic most places offer. The Pizza was well built and cooked. Pizza had good amount of toppings. We saw a great menu of other food items offered, coffee, pies, cakes,burgers, cookies, ice cream. They have 14 big screens inside for sports and things we enjoy watching. Plenty of employees on hand working. Very laid back atmosphere. The place was very clean and bright. We will go back for more.

Recently moved to Hockley and am already missing the convenience of going things just down the street. I have been to this restaurant 4-5 times and I’m glad it’s here and nearby. Really good pizza, decent apps, good sandwiches.

A great place to visit. Great food options, well made with quality ingredients. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great outdoors patio. Big place so it can get loud. Dessert options look wonderful, but so far I haven’t made it to dessert, food is just too good.

Pizza has fresh ingredients, not canned mushrooms as other pizza places. Service was good and the place has a family atmosphere. Surround TVs if sports is for you. Plenty of parking, pizza hot out the oven and delicious. Also have fried fish and shrimp which was awesome. Great selection menu.

It’s been years since we’ve been to Backdoor Pizza but we’re excited to go! The new building is great!! It’s COLD (take a jacket) and it’s loud in there because there is nothing to absorb sound. The Pizza is still amazing!! Great crust, great flavors! The Pizza is a solid 10/10.
We also tried the fried pickles. Not a fan of them. Need better quality pickles and a good batter. These were too thick and flavor was ok. We went back this week for burgers as well. The burgers look great. The bacon is spot on for the Bacon Cheeseburger. Veggies were good, but need better pickles with a snap. The burgers look great patties were a bit dry and heavy on the pepper in the meat flavor profile. The buns were amazing though. One of our group had the lasagna and said it had good flavor, just needed to be hotter temp wise.

This was a great place. The food choices were varied and great. There were 7 of sand all choices were delicious pizza, wings and salad. They also had ice cream and selection of cakes and pastries on display, but too full to eat!!! Also full bar, plenty of tvs and some arcade games.

WOW! What a place! This new location is absolutely stunning! They were already 5 stars but my goodness.
Firstly, the food is STILL amazing. As my original post discussed, their pizza is phenomenal and better than anything else evening remotely close to the area. Their pastas and salads are a must try as well! Finally, do not miss the opportunity to try their burgers; they are juicy and delicious!
Now that they serve alcohol, it makes this place over the top! Their drinks are always solid and they an amazing selection of beers and wines!
This place ALWAYS serves delicious food and has the BEST customer service.
Bonus: Now that their location is so big and spacious, they always host ALL sporting events and fights! 5 stars all the way!
