Solid and truly artisanal wood fired Neapolitan pizza that Portland can be proud of. Their Neapolitan is very Neapolitan which means very soft crust. Beautiful light fresh tomato sauce. If that was my favorite kind of pizza I would give this place five stars. Perhaps I should give it five stars? If you wanted Neapolitan pizza you would get a five-star Neapolitan. Okay, you know what I’m bumping my review to five stars. I’m taking one star off of myself and donating it to this place.
The Caesar salad approaches five stars. For $11 you get salad for two people so bear that in mind. Imagine how big the $18 version is — it probably feeds five. (Note that the photo only shows a small fraction of my salad, and the rest of it is in a big bowl out of frame). Delicious Caesar dressing where you can really taste the egg and the garlic is not over the top. Instead of romaine leaves it seems like there’s a combination of more delicate lettuces but they are still robust enough. A salad worth trying if you like Caesar or if you like salad or if you are half human.

Had the Margherita pizza and the pepperoni. Both are great. Traditional wood fired neopolitan pizza is about as good as it gets in Portland and there is some tough competition. Great prices and quick service at lunch. Will definitely be coming back.

Cuz one of my favorite pizza joints Portland. It has a nice funky vibe and the people are cool, the pizza is a thin crust cooked on a wood fire oven and it is delicious. In particular the pepperoni is spicy and flavorful, the kind that curls up when it’s cooked. I love it

I went here tonight for the first time. Eager to try their seasonal offerings. And I’m happy to report the incredible creation I was treated to tonight was one of the best things I’ve eaten all year. The staff was super friendly, and the place and a cozy intimate feel. 11/10 on everything. I can’t believe this gem has hiding right under by nose the past year.

The price is competitive with chains and yet this is handmade Wood-Fired pizza with amazing crisp/chewy crust.
I haven’t eaten in the restaurants but they look cozy.. I ordered for delivery and it’s ready to pick up by the time I can get there 10 minutes away.
I’m just sorry that I didn’t think to take photos before we destroyed the pies.
I’ll try to remember to add photos next time!

Yummy and awesome happy hour! As a college student in Portland, I really appreciated going here for their happy hour deal for the Margherita (only $9!). I always felt good walking in there to the kind employees and banger pizzas.

We have been coming here for years, I normally get 5-6 pizzas and take them home to Washington and heat up in the oven for 3 minutes and it’s fabulous. I freeze most of them for later. Love the fresh ingredients and new pizzas each week the salads are delicious as well.

Some of the best pizza in town. While they’re famous for their their Wood-Fired Margherita Happy hour special, I personally really love their creative specials (last week was chanterelle mushrooms with leeks and talagio cheese). They’re black garlic bread is also on the must and they have wonderful salads as well!

I ordered two pies for delivery as I’ve heard great things about this place. The flavors were great and the ingredients were high quality. However, I was slightly disappointed by the crust. The outside was clearly charred from the wood fire oven, but the inside was gummy/doughy/soggy. I think the oven may have been too hot. I’m looking forward to trying it again in the future, hoping this was a fluke.
