Once inside, we got a nice cozy spot. Abdul took care of us throughout the evening — super friendly and helpful, and he gave some really good recommendations for both drinks and food. We tried a few of his suggestions, and everything turned out great. The food was tasty, portions were decent, and the presentation was nice too.
The vibe was really good — relaxed, lively. It’s the kind of place you can chill, have a good conversation, and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed.
The food was delicious — we had pizza and pasta, and everything was so good.
The iced tea was nice too.
Now I understand why there’s always a queue to get a table.

First off, major thanks to our waitress Joanna and Mr.Seeboo they were attentive, and tried their best despite the chaos around them.
But the rest? An absolute disaster. This was hands down the WORST dining experience we’ve ever had all thanks to the so-called General Manager and Chef, ALLY. The food was tasteless; not a pinch of salt in the pasta. One of our dishes was burnt, and to top it off, I literally found an eggshell in mine. Completely unacceptable.
When we raised our concerns, ALLY came over not to apologize, not to fix the issue, but to argue with us. His excuse? “This is the only recipe I have.” Really? That’s how you justify serving garbage to guests?
He promised us a 50% discount for the ruined meals — fair enough. But when the bill came? Full amount. No discount. No explanation. Just more arrogance. When we asked Joanna to follow up, she came back embarrassed, saying we were told to pay the full bill. And we did. But that wasn’t the end.
As we were leaving, we told Ally that as a manager, he should learn how to treat guests with basic respect instead of picking fights. And his response? If you keep talking, I’ll drag you out and kick you out of the restaurant.
Let that sink in A MANAGER threatened to physically kick us out for complaining about terrible food and even worse service.
Also the waiter were extremely polite
Loved the seafood pizza but they could have added more toppings as it was not ample for a sharing dish. The size could be improved as well, considering the price point.
The minus point is the lack of flavor of The Pollo linguini – it tasted a bit like a chicken rougaille and it was not hot enough when we got it.
We found the mojito slightly pricey but tasted good and the tiramisu is definitely one of the best we had in Mauritius.
Outstanding service by the very nice and polite Gurpreet. He was extremely professional and attentive. Food came out fast, decor is cool and staff is very organised. Overall nice restaurant, good pasta and superb service.
The food was outstanding. It was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and exactly the kind of delicious, comforting Col’Cacchio quality we know and love. It honestly tasted like home – even the virgin strawberry daiquiri!
What really stood out was the service. Tash, a wonderful student from South Africa, looked after us and was absolutely excellent. She was warm, attentive, super-efficient, and genuinely friendly. She made us feel completely welcome from the moment we arrived.
The atmosphere is lovely with stylish, comfortable décor, and the prices were very reasonable for the superb quality.
We left feeling completely satisfied and cared for. Definitely planning to return soon!
