We decided to go to the drive-through since we had a long drive back. Well, it was like an hour and a half but you know rush-hour traffic when we hit the city. A food was actually came out pretty fast. The french fries were super hot and didn’t need any ketchup.My husband loved them.The hamburgers were so goooood. We decided to upgrade to root beer floats with our combos best decision ever the young man at the drive-through window was very pleasant and friendly..

250515- went inside this time. What a delight to see the interior, be waited on, friendly staff, and drinking from a frosty mug. Fries and Papa were both delicious this round.
Was great to be at an A&W again. The drive thru attendant was very sweet. Service was fast. Fries were a little overdone, but the Papa Burger was delicious.

100% better than any other fast food place, period. The staff is over the top fantastic and always super presentable. Very wholesome, and that’s lacking nowadays. The food is always crazy! Lettuce is fluffy everything’s put together beautifully. It looks better than the picture, not smashed like other places. This is fresh and it’s not made sloppily and it’s awesome. The root beer is ridiculously great. It’s not like you buy at the store. I believe they make it there. Whatever the case it’s off the chart. Probably the best A&W in America, and by probably I mean definitely. I recently had someone visiting from Scotland and they couldn’t believe how good it was. Faribault A&W gaining international acclaim and it is well deserved. A true gem.

5 Stars for serving up nostalgia! I just wanted an A&W root beer as I’d not had one for many, many months. I was pleased to see not only the original building design but the drive-up car hop portion is preserved and in use! So we used it. Got our food served on a tray, a root beer in a glass mug, and flipped the switch to indicate we were finished.

Very impressed with this long standing A&W. It had been quite a few years since we last dined at this location. Great atmosphere. We sat in ftont of their cozy central fire hearth on a rather fridged December evening. My daughter and I had Deluxe Cheeseburger combos. I upgraded to chili cheese fries and my daughter upgraded to a float. Wife has bbq sandwhich, root beer and onion rings. The food came out fast and we all thought it was fantastic. Server was friendly and on top of things and the price was very reasonable.

Went to A&W with the family in Fairboat, Minnesota, thought we’d give it a try, get out into greater Minnesota was amazing. These guys were doing a wonderful job, just getting everything out to us quickly keeping a nice clean restaurant. Um, we ended up having a couple of burgers, and some chili cheese fries. And everything was such good quality. I can’t remember the time at Burger King or McDonald’s where I’ve actually taken a burger held it in my hand and ate the old thing without it breaking into a million pieces. The burger held together. The bun was just toasted just right awesome! And to top that off, they even came back out and topped off our root beers floats. Uh, everybody in my family was happy. And I think, uh, yeah, you know what when people get together and they’ve got a good food,and I mean good food. I think the community really benefits as a whole. Happy Root Beer float day and a big shout out to Zoey. Zoey took care of us at the register, she made sure that we could find the mugs that we needed. Keep doing what you’re doing! Zoey is a great example of authentic customer service (no automated Kiosk).

Slow service. Had to turn around because I didn’t get the correct order. Not sure how you can mess up mini corn dogs and give someone a cheeseburger. By the time I had my corns dogs my tots were cold. Not a great experience. The ice cream in my float tasted really stale too. Not impressed
