Great food and friendly vibes, but be prepared for a warm, breezy (and buggy) atmosphere. It was pretty hot inside with no A/C and the doors open, which let in some mosquitos. Though to be fair, they always find me.
Still, the food was great. We tried the burgers, salads, and pizza, and everything was genuinely delicious. Burgers and garlic knots were the best!
The service was kind and welcoming, though not super knowledgeable about the menu or beers. Also, the server depended on us to remember what we ordered and some of us started eating the wrong salads (main dish versus side salads).
Overall, a solid spot. Maybe bring bug spray if you’re mosquito-prone and sitting inside (or out) on a summer night.

We really enjoyed burgers at The Stopalong! Large, juicy not too crisped smash burger patties and perfectly melted American cheese. Good quality bread including their gluten free bun! The only thing I didn’t love was the stringy texture of their caramelized onions.

Not sure if someone called off and she was overwhelmed however, first impression last.
The pizza look and taste rushed as though they threw it together. It had too much pepperoni which was salty & of low quality plus the dough wasn’t fully cooked.
Pizza sauce has good flavor.

One of the very few places deserving of a 5 star. This place is AMAZING. The service is great and the food is phenomenal. First time I have a 10/10 pizza and a 10/10 burger from the same place! The fries are fine I would say 7/10. Chicken is 7/10 as well. No one can have it all but burger and pizza top notch especially with the declining small cheval, this is a winner. Keep up the great service and great food! (Excuse my poor photography skills) . pro tip: go to the restaurant exactly when the time says to be there, don’t go too early. They are efficient and plan well

The smash burger at the StopAlong is picture perfect but the flavors don’t reach the same heights. Biggest issue is that the patty was too salty but I know a lot of smash burger places do that. Other disappointment was the fries. A lot were kind of over fried and only like 1 inch long. Had to grab a handful for a decent bite.

I stopped by The StopAlong for a quick lunch meeting and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was delicious—loved the crunchiness of the crust! I also tried the burger, and it was just as good. Great flavors, quality food, and all at an affordable price. Definitely worth a visit!

Stopped in before Chicago artist’s Don’t Fret memorial, which was held in Park 567 across the street. Friendly and quick service, excellent White Pie (with added fresh basil) and Short-Stop Burger, both recommended. The toys and artwork are bright and cheerful but the space still seems somehow not alive, our only criticism.

I tried the StopAlong burger at Roscoe Village Burgerfest; I got it without cheese and the burger slapped even though I firmly believe every burger should have cheese on it. It’s clear why it’s a step above every other competitor. I saw the cooks actually using ground beef and forming the patties for their smash burger. Literally every other competitor was using some stock bulk preformed patty that was likely frozen.

Solid spot with burgers, fries, pizza, and calzones. Lots of 80s and really 90s pop culture decor along with a few arcade and board games.
Staff were very friendly and service was quick. Not a ton of seating but there is a patio when weather permits.
Got calzones on our visit. They are only offered on Wednesdays and were very good, coming with garlic marinara and a garlic crumble on top.
Definitely would recommend trying to hit this place up on Wednesday just to try them.
