I visited Le Bizetro for dinner and wasn’t disappointed. If you’re looking for authenticity and bold flavors, this is definitely the place. It feels unique, and every dish is well executed.

For starters, we had:
– Snails (10/10): when the sauce is this good, it makes all the difference
– Bone marrow(10/10)one of the most generous portions we’ve had in a long time
– Lentil and lard salad(9/10): not something you see often, and I loved how well the flavors worked together

For mains:
– Côtelettes d’agneau (6/10): not my personal favorite, wouldn’t order again
– Rumsteak with pepper sauce (8/10): tasty and satisfying

We ended with a speculoos and Nutella tiramisu: I can’t explain how good this was.

The atmosphere is loud, lively, and local: what you’d expect from a classic Parisian bistro. Come for the great food and pair it with a good bottle of wine. I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem, and I am glad we did! The bone marrow was good but a little too oily. But the veal tbone with mushroom sauce and fries was delicious! The steak was creamy, savory, and loaded with mushrooms. The fries reminded me of Chicago style fries. They were salty, crispy, flavorful, and floppy, and were great dipped in the mushroom sauce. The chocolate mousse was super rich and great with the crunchy cocoa nibs mixed in.

I absolutely loved my visit to Le Bizetro! The whole experience felt like stepping back into a more simple, charming Paris — warm, down-to-earth, and full of character.

The food was wonderful. The lentils and bacon salad was one of my favorites — hearty, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The apple and pear dessert was simple yet so satisfying, the kind of dish that lingers in your memory. I also tried the snails and pork pâté, both of which were very much in the spirit of classic French cooking. Even the bread stood out — so fresh and just right alongside everything else.

The vibe of the place is amazing: lively, authentic, and full of locals, which is always a great sign. The staff were amusing and warm, adding to the fun, relaxed atmosphere. It’s the kind of spot where you instantly feel comfortable and welcomed.

This is not just a meal — it’s like traveling back in time to a more genuine Paris, where people are real, friendly, and grounded. Just be sure to book ahead, because it’s popular (and rightfully so!).

The food and service in Le Bizetro was a 10/10.

We ordered bone marrow and a sirloin with frites for two people, and it was the perfect portion for the two of us.

Our server Joanna was very sweet, attentive and welcoming with us. She made our experience even better!

We had one of those dinners last night were things just went perfectly. It starts with a friendly and real staff. It continues with reasonable prices and of course insane french fries. Bizetro is so old school, very meat driven and very, very good. most of all we just had a really really good time. We ended with an excellent riz au lait. Then a glass of Calvados, which I couldn’t resist treating myself to. Can’t wait to come back.

This was one of our favorite newly discovered restaurants on our recent trip to Paris!

We actually walked over one night at 7pm hoping to snag ourselves a table but it was fully booked. They told us that the earliest availability that night would be after 9pm. So we booked for the next night at 745pm.

The food was classic French bistro food, and probably one of the most authentic experiences we’ve had, and at a very good price point as well.

Staff were very friendly and accommodative.

All in all a wonderful meal. We cannot recommend this place enough. Do call ahead to make reservations as it is very popular with locals.

We cannot wait to come back and have another meal when we’re in Paris next!

Came here for dinner. I had the rump steak, which unfortunately wasn’t as tender as I expected, and the fries were quite saggy. The staff was polite, but overall the meal didn’t meet my expectations.

Review Title: A Masterclass in French Cuisine – Absolutely Outstanding!
Rating: 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Our visit to Le Bistro in Paris was an unforgettable culinary journey. If you are looking for an authentic experience where tradition meets top-tier execution, this is the place to be. Every dish served was a testament to the chef’s passion and respect for high-quality ingredients.
We started our meal with the escargots (snails). They were prepared to perfection—tender and bathed in a rich, aromatic garlic butter with a generous amount of fresh herbs. The flavor was so deep that using the baguette to soak up every last drop of the sauce became a mandatory (and delightful!) part of the appetizer.
The bone marrow was another highlight. It is a dish for true connoisseurs, and here it was served masterfully. Roasted just right, with a creamy texture and topped with a touch of coarse sea salt—it literally melted in our mouths. It’s rare to find bone marrow prepared this well, even in the heart of France.
Finally, we had the French steak tartare. The meat was of the highest grade—hand-chopped (not ground!), perfectly seasoned with a balanced kick of capers, shallots, and Dijon mustard. The harmony of flavors was simply exemplary.
In summary: The dinner was absolutely sensational. The atmosphere, the professional service, and, above all, the food made us feel truly special. This is a must-visit spot in Paris for anyone who loves authentic French cuisine. We will definitely be back❤️
