I’ve always driven by Walter’s, but I was quite surprised by their quality and delicate atmosphere. Off the bat, I observed a clean atmosphere, I liked how the seating was arranged with bar and standard seating, divided to the left and right of the foyer. My waiter was on top of things, and ensured me and my guest were taken care of, by consistently checking on us while we ate. The food itself was fresh with high quality ingredients. Starting with the lasagna, it’s definitely up there with some of the better lasagnas I’ve had. The lasagna came with bread, that I dipped in the lasagna, perfect combination. The pizza itself was hot and had great flavor. I went with the personalize your pizza option, I chose a 16’ with Walter’s spicy sweet marinara, and the original crust they’re known for. When it came out, that pie was hot, the cheese had a good pull to it, I like the salty sweet flavor of the sauce, and the nice soft crust that was nice and airy. Overall, excellent experience at Walter’s, I look forward to returning.

Tried a build our own thin crust, half pepperoni half sausage. The pizza size was accurate, crust thin, but was so incredibly greasy, really ruined the pie. Like other reviews, when my wife grabbed the to go box, the pizza was like warm, and when eating it cold. Probably not in a warmer after firing, but we got there within 15 minutes of order. Would be willing to try again if it’s a one off. We carried out , and the front staff was friendly. Price was a little high, $25 for a single pie, but we did build our own.

Last minute decided to stop in and order to-go. First visit there together. Husband and Wife.
$30 for 16” with pepperoni, jalapeño and half pineapple. Told 30 minute wait. Went to bar area.
Place wasn’t very busy or full.
Watched as serve staff tended to every single person ignoring us. We intended to have a cocktail while we waited. Families came and went. I looked back at three employees standing in the bar area near the wall. One person saw us trying to get attention. Nothing.
Well, alright. Not sure if we did something wrong or offended them somehow?
40 minute wait and we got our pizza. Person that brought it was friendly.
Drove home 10 minutes and pizza was room temp border line cold. Barely any jalapeño which was what I love. Good amount of pepperoni and decent pineapple. Very thin crust almost like crackers.
Not a great experience. We may try again to see if this was just an off experience.

The pizza is exceptional, ranking among the finest I have ever tasted. The crust is exceptionally well-made, and the toppings are perfectly placed. The only suggestion I would make is to reduce the amount of barbecue sauce on the Hawaiian pizza, as it is currently too much. Small place not many tables but still excellent food and service I definitely will be going back to try another pizza

I have been to this place before for the pizza but everyone always raved about the wings so I had to come back and try them. As far as the wings, I am not impressed: 1.) they are oven baked so they have no crisp to them, 2.)it seems they are cooked at a high temp so the meat is tough and rubbery and the fat had not had the slow and necessary time to render. The sauces for the wings the good and i do like them. If they could fry their wings vs using the oven they would be way better. For now I will stick to the brass tap when it come to wings. Service was good but not as attentive as I would expect sitting at the bar.

Thank you for making us feel comfortable. When we were first sat, we accidentally knocked over all of the table settings at our table. Rather than shame us, your staff helped us clean up and didn’t make mention of it again. It saved the evening. We spent the rest of our time enjoying the meatballs, lasagna, and pizza. Everything was delicious and we will be back again.

We go here every week. I love the salads, pizzas, wings, and more. My loves the meatball app; my kids love the cheesy breadsticks.
This week, we ordered our usual and they accidentally made plain cheese instead of
Pepperoni. We told them; they rushed a pep, and then when it was ready, they gave us the plain cheese we didn’t order for free. Best pizza in town. Eat here soon and then go again!

Best deep dish pizza I think I’ve ever had. Sauce was great. Cheese was great. Amount of toppings was great.
I liked the atmosphere; big enough to be accommodating but small enough to have that small-pizzeria feel. Grab one of their cold brews of your choice (plenty on tap) and pick a pizza to try.
UPDATE: 9/18/2024 – Stopped and tried the pretzel and meatball appetizers. FANTASTIC!

We’ve been ordering from Walters for two years and we’ve always been pleased and recommended to our friends. However, the last three months the pizza has gone downhill. We like the Margarita pizza with the cauliflower crust. We always thought the cheese was skimpy so we always order extra cheese and tomatoes. Tonight, this is what our pizza looked like. The crust was brittle and it didn’t look like extra cheese at all. This is the same complaint I made a month ago at the restaurant when I ordered the Red Hot Mama and the Margarita and both crusts were overdone (burnt). Almost $60 for poorly prepared pizza. The manager (looked like a college student) said with the hot temps outside, the oven was being inconsistent. No offer of an adjustment or future credit. We’ve come back but I’m not so sure we will be back moving forward. I want the great pizza again. (Guess I can’t post a photo.)
