We enjoyed a Valentine’s Day lunch at this fine establishment. The atmosphere was great, our server was friendly and helpful, the food was outstanding, and we never felt pressured or rushed to make our selections or leave after we paid our bill.
Once inside, it was hard to believe the restaurant was part of a strip mall; it was cozy and comfortable, very welcoming. I had a fantastic salmon hibachi that was different than other hibachi dishes I’d had before, but still amazingly tasty – more so knowing ingredients I’m allergic to were omitted. My husband enjoyed his General Tso’s chicken and the Girl on Fire roll. He said he thought the roll would be much spicier than he was, based on the description (he loves spicy food), but found it delicious nonetheless.
Dessert was unique and tasty, too. I had the fried bananas and ice cream, while he had the fried cheesecake. It’s basically batter-dipped and flash-fried, but the batter was light and crispy. I’m used to the deep-fried fair food on a stick in Minnesota, but this was nowhere near as greasy as that can be. The vanilla ice cream was lovely, served in a separate bowl with a drizzle of chocolate sauce, sprinkles, and whipped cream, and each piece of fried banana has whipped cream as well. Definitely helped cool off the piping hot banana!
I am honestly very impressed with Saké Asian Fusion, and I look forward to returning many times in the future.

I hadn’t seen my sister-in-law for three decades. I invited her out for lunch in Jacksonville, NC. We went to this Sake Asian Fusion for lunch because I wanted to eat some sushi. The restaurant’s atmosphere was nice and clean. The food was good and the service was great. We had a great time.

Definitely one of the best (perhaps #1) sushi restaurants in Jacksonville. We ate here for our anniversary on Valentines day and although busy they did a great job . We ordered the tuna tatare appetizer, western Blvd roll , Easter roll, spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls. All were expertly prepared and generous portions. The ratio of protein to rice is notably high. Which to me is a sign of higher quality sushi. Easter roll had great spicy flavor, Western Blvd roll was bright and delicate. The spicy rolls were great. The tuna tartare had satisfying flavors.

This used to be my favorite place to get sushi, until this hair got pulled out of my sushi. I order to go plenty and didn’t have issues until today. Called to ask the manager if they could just refund my order as I do not live close by to pick up a remade order. To which she said no. Very unfortunate as I was a frequent customer.

Sake Asian Fusion is an absolute gem The flavors are fresh and well-balanced, with every roll clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. The service was equally impressive! Jill was friendly, attentive, and welcoming without ever making us feel rushed. The atmosphere tied everything together with a warm, inviting vibe that makes it perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. From start to finish, it’s a place that makes you want to come back again and again. I will definitely be back when I visit Jacksonville again!

Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere was very calm and peaceful. Our waiter was extremely respectful. He took care of our every need and we never felt like he was trying to hurry us out.
We got the chicken ramen, honey walnut shrimp meal, and the chicken fried rice! 10/10

I had a very disappointing experience at one of my favorite sushi restaurants today. After a very difficult morning, my friend and I went to lunch. When we arrived, the hostess told us that Alexis would be our server. Before we could even sit down, Alexis walked up to the hostess and said she would not be serving us. Then both she and the hostess walked away without offering any explanation or apology.
Feeling confused , embarrassed and hurt, my friend and I thought it best to leave. I called and asked to speak with the manager on duty. Instead of listening to my issue, I was told to call back tomorrow. The assistant on the phone didn’t ask for any details or offer any help, just repeated that I needed to call back. This was incredibly disappointing and upsetting, especially from a place I’ve loved for so long.
Terrible customer service experience, and I hope the restaurant takes steps to address this behavior.
