We wandered into Mooney’s simply because we wanted to get out and play some darts… and wow, we did not expect to have this much fun.
This place is an absolute riot in the best possible way. The bartenders were incredibly friendly, the crowd was fantastic, and we ended up meeting some truly awesome people. It’s the kind of bar where you show up casually and somehow leave feeling like you made new friends.
There are also so many fun, hidden surprises throughout the place (you’ll know exactly what I mean once you’re there ). Let’s just say… keep your eyes open and maybe look for a hidden black… yeah, you get the idea.
Great STRONG drinks, great energy, great people, and zero pretension. We laughed the entire time and had way more fun than we ever expected.
We will 100% be back — next time with even more friends in tow.

This “wee” bar and restaurant is perfect after a long day of driving.
I can attest that the friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable bartenders were what one would expect in an authentic Irish Pub.
My beer, dinner, and Irish coffee came out to $34.00 (not counting too) EXTREMELY reasonable!
I enjoyed the Bangers and Mash; the sausages cooked to perfection, perfectly balanced mash potatoes and the rich brown gravy with a a hint of Guineas beer, perched out on the patio with a sunset view of the red rocks made my first day in Sedona a memorable one- don’t forget an Irish coffee- I had mine with Tullamore and cream instead of the usual Bailey’s – you will not be disappointed. Slainte!

Irish bars never seem to fail if you’re looking for a good bar layout. Lots of bar seats and plenty of seating plus they carry Smithwicks(smitticks) one of my favorite Irish red beers. Fish and chips were tasty and their homemade tartar and cherry balsmaic vinegar complimented it perfectly. Friendly and fast service, personable bartender that actually engaged in helpful conversation about the area.

Great atmosphere. Good vibes, good food. The gentleman at the front door “Odne” was a top notch guy and he made everyone visiting feel like they were part of the Mooney family. Great first impression walking in. However the lighting out front was a little aggressive and took away from the ambiance. Seems like a simple fix. But absolute blast! Thanks Odne for making us feel welcomed.

This was a good place to stop at for some food while in Sedona. The burgers are big and juicy and tasty. The beer is cold and the atmosphere is very comfortable to have a conversation in or watch a sporting event.

Mooney’s was so much fun! We visited on a Friday night around 9pm for a round of drinks after dinner nearby while we were staying in Sedona. The music was entertaining but not too loud, so we were still able to hear each other talk. We ordered a round of drinks and stood around one of the tables for four near the front of the pub.
We were thrilled when we saw several decks of cards near our tables as we left our deck at home. We played cards and enjoyed our drinks for about an hour and the atmosphere and service remained pleasant.
There was a more open area in the back with darts and what looked like a DJs booth. Lots of funny posters / wall hangings and hilarious bar stools.
