We love coming here because the service is always fantastic and the food is out of this world. Tonight was no exception.
We were greeted warmly when we arrived and seated quickly. Our server Kuldip took exceptional care of us, making sure we had everything we needed.
Everything on the menu is delicious. We started with the sesame chili cauliflower appetizer and then enjoyed chicken Tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, garlic naan and raita. We happily stuffed our faces.
I recommend Blue Taj for the great location, excellent service, and wonderful food. If you want quality Indian cuisine, look no further.

Went there for lunch and had an amazing time! The place had a nice atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. Our server Duvan was extremely nice and quick. He gave us great recommendations from the menu and was quick to check in on us!

Legendary. 5 out of 5. I come in about 3 or 4 times a year, but I will come back more oten. The lunch special is a fair price and the Chicken Tikka Masala, sauce, butter and garlic naan is so tasty. The salad is delicious as well. Please don’t ever change anything.

I had passed by this restaurant on my way back to the parking deck a few times. I was pleased to see that there was an Indian restaurant in Ballantyne Village. I have tried a number of Indian restaurants around the country and in London. In fact our go to restaurant in Lexington MA for many years was an Indian restaurant. I have to say the food was excellent! I had to study the menu for a bit as I was not familiar with the offerings. It was more than worth it – not to mention it was a terrific value. I will be a repeat customer for sure.

This is the best Indian restaurant ever. We love it! We have been going here for years and it’s so good and so consistent. The lamb korma, amtasari chicken, garlic naan, and samosas are some of our favorite things. Andrew is the best server!

I placed a rather large order for takeout yesterday. The online ordering process was so simple. I added all of the dishes, indicated the spice level, which I was a little nervous about because I was ordering for kids too, and scheduled the pickup for a specific time. When I went to the restaurant, the food was all packaged perfectly and ready to go by the door for me — much appreciated! Everything was DELICIOUS and I am already looking forward to going back again soon. Highly recommend!

The food was very delicious. We were a mixed bunch of Vegan/veg and non vegetarians. All of us enjoyed the food. The dal makhni, leek kofta (different texture from usual ones), and mango chana chaat were very good.
The service wasn’t very good. They are probably understaffed.

Had an amazing dinner at Blue Taj in Charlotte! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish deserves a full 5 stars. Special thanks to Punnu Singh, the owner, Sukhpreet and Harvinder for their outstanding hospitality. They truly made the experience with family memorable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic flavors from India and warm service!

It’s been quite a while since we visited The Blue Taj – at least five years – and it’s still a great restaurant. The food was VERY tasty and the service was friendly and professional. Lots of vegetarian options. Our only issue (and the only reason we won’t give it five stars) is how much more expensive it was from our last visit – MUCH more than we remember – even the veggie dishes. Still, if you have a taste for fine Indian food, it would be hard to find any better in Charlotte!
