For more than 50 years, the Vitale family has been serving West Michigan with the finest pizza and Italian food. Vitale’s began when Salvatore Vitale immigrated from Sicily to Grand Rapids. Sam used the same time-tested recipes brought over from the old country. Even today, Vitale’s continues to insist on the freshest ingredients. Everything is done in house from chopping the vegetables to making their own sausage, dough and sauces.

My daughters and I absolutely loved this restaurant! We wish we would have found it sooner on our trip so we could have eaten here twice. Highly recommend the lasagna and I recommend asking about portion sizes if you don’t want leftovers.

Another local.pizza joint. I liked it better than Petrinos. Wings and pizza were decent. I got lots of wings for a reasonable price. Pretty well sauced. Boom boom wings were ok, not as hot as I thought they might be. The meatlovers pizza was good. I’ll be back. Thanks!

I have been going to many of the Vitale’s locations for a long time. This location has always had great service and a good variety of menu items beyond most Italian restaurants in the area. Of course their pizza is great, but I would encourage you to try other items like their burgers and sandwiches. I also highly recommend the garlic knots! I have taken some pictures of some of the lesser known dishes since there are plenty of pictures of pizza! I will say that it can get fairly busy on Friday and Saturday nights, but I have generally had good luck with getting seating quickly.

They were accommodating to our large (26) group and were patient as we spent a long time catching up with family who we hadn’t seen in years. The staff was truly incredible. They were efficient and mindful of our experience. The pizza was delicious!! Our favorite was the Chicken Bacon Ranch. We’d definitely come back again.

Place was packed on new years eve, only about a 10 min wait. The food ofcorse was the best Italian in this area for sure. But the most remarkable thing is that our food came out very fast, considering how busy they were. So great job kitchen staff as well .

My family and I have been going to Vitale’s for over 32 years. I have tried several items on their menu over the years, most of the time having take-out pizza. Every food item that I’ve had has always been very good. We have always received great service every time we order. I have always recommended Vitale’s when anyone asks me where to get the best pizza in Zeeland.
