i asked if they could use chocolate ice cream
the lady said we don’t have chocolate ice cream
then when I pulled to the window i realized they have whole blizzards that are only chocolate so what’s going on here?
I confronted her which the lady and she said oh we just add chocolate syrup to the ice cream to make chocolate
okays then can you just do that for mine
she said yes
then only did it to one blizzard leaving the other vanilla
Also one large blizzard and one small came out to 16.25 it feels like a total ripoff
The woman working the front counter was rude from the start. She charged for items unnecessarily and acted frustrated that I used the promotional rewards that Dairy Queen itself offers. When one of the burgers was made incorrectly due to a mistake in the app customization, I went back inside to get it fixed. Instead of helping, she gave me attitude, insisted it was my fault, and made me feel like I was a problem for asking.
When the burger was remade, it seemed rushed and done haphazardly — with little to no seasoning. The cherry slush I ordered tasted watered down, almost like the syrup was out. On top of that, the Blizzard I ordered (which was supposed to be a highlight) tasted like it had been mixed with other flavors instead of the one I actually chose. It was basically inedible, and between that and the burger, I ended up throwing out about half of both items.
To make matters worse, this was my friend’s very first time at a Dairy Queen, and after the poor service and lack of flavor in the food, it left such a bad impression that it’s unlikely we’ll ever want to return to this location. That’s especially disappointing for me, because I’ve been to Dairy Queens all across the U.S., and I’ve never experienced food and service this bad at any other store.
The only positive was the man working that day — he went above and beyond. He was kind, accommodating, and really tried to make sure we left satisfied. It even felt like he had to keep stepping in because the woman at the counter simply didn’t know how to speak to customers with respect. His professionalism saved this visit from being a total disaster.
Overall, credit to him, but this location needs to be addressed immediately. The food quality, the service, and the way customers are treated here are far below what Dairy Queen is known for. Management needs to step in and deal with this store accordingly.
During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying the mint chocolate milkshake and onion rings, and I must say, they were truly awesome. The mint chocolate milkshake was a perfect blend of refreshing mint flavor and rich chocolate, creating a creamy concoction that delighted my taste buds. The onion rings were crispy, golden, and accompanied by a flavorful dipping sauce that enhanced their savory appeal. The quality and taste of the food at Dairy Queen exceeded my expectations, leaving me thoroughly satisfied.

Im 75 years old been going to dairy queen growing up in Hawaii near Waikiki. Always creamy soft serve. Today the soft serve was very wattery like it had been thinned with milk. I called to ask if they changed the mixture as it was totally different. I immediately could tell being a long time patrons. I stopped at McDonald’s on the way home and their ice cream was what Dairy Queen use to be. Please change back to what it once was. Weeks ago it was OK but now I won’t go there anymore. Sorry but your ice cream has been the main attraction. Please help.
But everyone has rough days, I’ve come back frequently with different friends, the blizzard really is a sight to see when you hold it upside down, all subsequent visits have been much different for the better. Perfect place to beat the summer heating up past the 100s.
