We had time for lunch before our afternoon flight out of OGG, so we stopped here. This is a diner with an Italian flair but plenty of non-Italian options. Our salad and pasta were fine. Service was great–very friendly and helpful.

Came for Thanksgiving and was NOT disappointed at all! Amazing calimari, excellent seafood pasta and blue cheese salad. Try the pineapple martini.. you won’t regret it! Antonio was epic! Staff was welcoming and atmosphere is kind and warm.

What a great find! The food was absolutely superb! Cooked and prepared perfectly. Very flavorful. Staff was excellent as well, very friendly. Definitely leave room for dessert. We highly recommend the lemon cream cake. It was so good!! They take very good care of their place, it was very clean. Definitely a destination place when we come back.

Stopped by for breakfast here on a whim. Ordered the Smoked salmon and eggs and the Big Lebowski. Everything was tasty, and the maple butter was delicious! The staff was friendly and attentive. We didn’t have to wait on a Monday morning, but it was busy.

I sat down around 5:50 PM. The place was not busy, yet I had to wait about 12 minutes just for someone to take my order. After ordering, I waited another 36 minutes for my food to arrive.
I ordered the Sandy’s Shrimp Pasta. When it finally came, I was surprised to find that it had only ONE shrimp shell in the entire dish. The rest was just vegetables with pasta. For a signature dish that has “shrimp” in its name, that was very disappointing.
After I told the server that my pasta didn’t have any shrimp, about 2 minutes later they brought the shrimp separately on another plate, which felt odd and poorly handled.
The cheese garlic bread was also quite bad, and the pasta itself was very average. It tasted like ingredients were simply cooked and mixed together without any real flavor or effort.
This was the final meal of my Hawaii trip. Over the past 7 days I had many amazing meals with great service everywhere else — except here. Unfortunately, both the service and the food did not live up to the rating at all.

Drove by this place while we were heading to tin roof restaurant. Tun Roof didn’t have inside dining just to go so we decided to stop by Marco’s as it was pretty full with people. Food was good service was good and food came out quickly. Ultimately for tge price and service this place gets 4 stars.

We had an incredible breakfast here. I had a the egg tortilla wrap with Portuguese sausage, the flavor and portion size were both terrific. My wife had the ham and egg omelet, same for her food-delicious and good portion. Bonus was tasty chocolate macadamia nut coffee. Really attentive and friendly service today as well! Value for dollar, good food and great service.

We were visiting Maui with over 20 family members. We came here for our daughter’s birthday. We were not expecting great Italian food in the middle of the ocean…. We were wrong!! Great food, great drinks, great service!!
We got multiple salads (all amazing), the bruschetta and mozzarella marinara were ordered x4 for our table!! For entrees they modified several for us, the eggplant Parmesan was the best my wife has had, and multiple other dishes were the best we have had. Our party was 23 people and they took care of us like a 5-star and only a party of 2!!

Maui World Travelers
Marco’s has been around since 1993. They were a welcome addition to Kahului’s lack of cuisine and added a restaurant that was a “nicer” place to dine at. Their swanky second location in Kihei closed years ago.
ATMOSPHERE:
They’re part of the Dairy Center, and located at one of the island’s busiest intersections (Dairy & Hana.) The theme inside is black and white, with a small bar, booth and table seating. Big windows lets in lots of natural light, with views of cars whizzing by. Unfortunately, tacky neon signs adorn almost every window top. Clientele can be touristy since its on the way to OGG.

Breakfast, salads, Italian & American apps, pastas, sandwiches, pizza, dessert.
FOOD:
Caesar Salad
This used to be my fave version on the rock but I’ve since found better ones. They tend to use super dark green romaine rather than baby so it has a very rough and thick texture. The dressing is a bit too tangy for me.
Tomato & Cheese Salad
It’s a mix of romaine, tomatoes, olives, onions, and cubes of mozzarella cheese tossed in a basil dressing that’s refreshingly light.
Vodka Rigatoni
No one does a better vodka sauce than these guys! Truly. The sauce is more on the orange side of the color spectrum, and is full of creamy and savory flavors from the prosciutto, cheese and garlic. I don’t care for tube pastas so I always order it with linguine, which they’re more than happy to do. The full portion is big enough for 2 to share, and they offer a half portion size as well. A few years ago this dish had a severe overkill of garlic, but they have since corrected it. Highly recommended!
Mushroom Chicken
My second fave dish on the menu. Tender chunks of chicken and sauteed mushrooms are done in a garlic cream sauce over fettuccine. It’s not a heavy dish but the portion is very generous.
Clam Linguine
I always hesitate to order this dish at any restaurant in fear of receiving a flavorless dish. And here, it was another added disappointment, contrary to the server up-selling it. There was just not enough butter, garlic, and salt in the dish, so I did the ultimate sin and loaded my plate with grated parmesan cheese. Avoid.
Pasta Penne
My spouse loves this dish, but it’s so boring to me. It’s simply penne with a spicy tomato sauce & ricotta cheese. Boring! Spice level is about a 3 on a 5 scale.
Ham & Mushroom Omelet
The egg was cooked perfect, with a tasty blend of fresh mushrooms, deli-style ham, and mozzarella cheese. It comes with their delish oven-roasted potatoes and toast.
DESSERT:
Tiramisu
Moist and flavorful, mainstream but still good.
SERVICE:
Friendly for the most part, but never experienced “wow” service. Reservations are not really needed as turnover is pretty quick.
OVERALL:
Pricey, generous portions. The best vodka sauce I’ve tasted so far!
