Excellent service. The receipt is hard to read, the servers name. Looks like Ryan or Aryan I possibly. I ordered with my meal an extra plain hamburger. He noticed it was for my dog, and reduced the price. He called it a puppy burger. He made the whole experience because of his professionalism, his smile and outgoing personality.

The sandwiches are very good and the employees are friendly and polite. This is a drive thru only restaurant. You cannot eat inside. You pull up to the window and get your food to go, in a paper bag.

When traveling, I find it’s always fun, flavorful and “frugal” to try a small local chain restaurant not in my state…in this case it’s Frugal’s! Sadly to my surprise, this is only a drive thru setup! Fortunately, they still serve you, kindly, if you’re walking through the drive thru, and my hotel was just across the street.
$8 Bacon Cheese Burger…solid, thick, meaty patty with crispy bacon, cheese, mayo, lettuce…much better than Big Mac, Whopper, or Famous Star, or Whataburger.
$9 Fish Burger…a nice tender juicy white fish fillet perfectly deep fried in a thick golden crispy batter. Yum!

Went through frugals and their food is always great – Fresh made, every time. They always have great new things to try like the chicken cordon Bleu (which is fantastic!!) Along with the orange creamsicle milkshake as well. Had to wait a little longer than normal and that’s the only reason this review wasn’t perfect. Great work all around though!!

Frugals has fast and friendly service and delicious burgers,fries,cheese curds and crispy chicken bites. They also have fabulous milk shakes. In Kalispell there are 2 Frugals locations. Frugals North has drive thru and dine in seating. The one South of town is just drive thru. Either way you will get tasty food. It’s a cute 1950s drive in style. Our favorites are the Black and blue burger,seasoned fries,crispy chicken bites,and cheese curds. The halibut sandwich is also a family favorite!!! The burgers are huge,flame grilled and always juicy. The fries are perfectly crispy and hot.

Well, like everyone else has said, these burgers are great. As well as the fries, and every shake I’ve had too. The halibut sandwich was awesome, the blue cheese bacon was delicious. It all is.
As for the wait time, it’s because it’s worth it. Although later at night, you can just whizz right through.

Extremely pleasant presence on the intercom this morning! I was greeted right away. The guy who took my order, was super quick and moved the line with lightning speed. I was at the window in no time! My order was hot and more importantly, correct! I love this location. They have my favorite grilled chicken sandwich that the other location doesn’t have. I most definitely recommend eating here. It’s no surprise to me that they are always a bit busy but no worries the food is so good.
